Destiny 2: Edge Transit God Roll Guide

Destiny 2 Edge Transit

Destiny 2 Into the Light came with a ton of amazing Legendary weapons. All these weapons were reprised with brand-new perk options as well as an exclusive Origin Trait. These weapons dropped from the Onslaught activity and used to have the Shiny version drop as well. Edge Transit was initially released with the Forsaken expansion and was reprised with Into the Light. It is a Grenade Launcher that has some amazing perks for PvE. It also comes with the Origin Trait called Indomitability. Final blows with the weapon grant Grenade energy when playing with a Light subclass and Melee energy when using a Darkness subclass.

Edge Transit is an Adaptive Frame Heavy Grenade Launcher that has Void affinity. Heavy Grenade Launchers received major buffs after Lightfall and are one of the best damage options in the game. The Artifact Perks of Episode Revenant also greatly help boost the potency of these Grenade launchers. Luckily, Edge Transit has perk options which makes it one of the best of its archetype.

This weapon comes with 14 perk options. In the left column, this weapon can roll with an Envious Assassin, Auto-Loading Holster, Field Prep, Repulsor Brace, Cascade Point, Impulse Amplifier, and Chain Reaction. In the right column, the perks available are Destabilizing Rounds, Full Court, Explosive Light, Bait and Switch, Deconstruct, Adrenaline Junkie, and Frenzy.

PvE God Roll

For PvE, players want to increase the Reload Speed of Edge Transit as high as possible. Players can achieve this by using Hard Launch as the Barrel perk, Spike Grenades as the Magazine option for the extra damage, and a Reload Speed Masterwork. In the left column, there are a lot of perks that players can consider. Envious Assassin is one of the best which greatly overflows the magazine based on the number of rapid kills with other weapons. Auto-Loading Holster is another perk that automatically reloads the weapon after it is holstered for a while.

Cascade Point is the final perk option that players should consider. This perk greatly increases the rate of fire of the weapon provided players get rapid precision hits with other weapons. This is one of the best perks to have as it greatly increases the short-term DPS of the weapon while the other two perks are suited for long damage phases. In the right column, Bait and Switch is the best damage-boosting perk. It grants the weapon a 25 percent damage boost after landing shots with every other weapon in the loadout. This perk combination makes Edge Transit one of the best Grenade Launchers in Destiny 2.

  • Barrel: Hard Launch
  • Magazine: Spike Grenades
  • Masterwork: Reload Speed
  • Left Perk: Envious Assassin, Auto-Loading Holster, Cascade Point
  • Right Perk: Bait and Switch

Void Synergy Roll

Edge Transit also comes with a perk combination that is highly synergistic with the Void subclass across Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks. This perk combination is not suited for damage dealing at all. It is more focused on crowd control and taking advantage of Void Overshields. Players should go with Hard Launch as the Barrel option, Spike Grenades as the Magazine option, and a Reload Speed Masterwork.

In the left column, the perk that synergizes with Void is Repulsor Brace. This perk allows defeating the Void debuffed targets with the weapon to generate a Void Overshield. This Overshield received a major buff with the launch of Revenant Episode. It now grants the player a 70 percent damage reduction. Destabilizing Rounds is the perk in the right column that spreads Volatile to nearby combatants upon getting kills. This perk combination creates a highly Void synergistic loop that provides crowd control as well as Void synergy.
