Destiny 2 released its second Episode called Revenant during The Final Shape expansion. This Episode launched with a collection of seasonal weapons with more weapons that will be added in the later Acts. These weapons are unique and come with their own Origin Trait called Dark Ether Reaper.
This Origin Trait allows these weapons to create an Orb upon killing enemies. This Orb can be shot at or touched to fill the weapon’s magazine from reserves. This can also potentially overflow the magazine.
Exuviae Overview
Exuviae is an Aggressive Frame Hand Cannon that has Stasis affinity. Stasis Hand Cannons are some of the best to synergize with the Stasis subclass. This weapon has brand-new perks which makes it the best Hand Cannon for synergy. The Origin Trait on this weapon also goes well with this weapon.
Exuviae has 14 perk options. In the left column, players have the choice between To The Pain, Encore, Lone Wolf, Stats for All, Keep Away, Triple Tap, and Rimestealer which is a brand-new perk. In the right column, the available perks are Desperate Measures, Frenzy, Redirection, Explosive Payload, One for All, Headstone, and Precision Instrument.
PvE God Roll
For PvE, players want to boost the Reload Speed as high as possible for Exuviae. Aggressive Frame Hand Cannons have a slow Reload Speed in Destiny 2. Players must choose Corkscrew Rifling as the Barrel perk, Flared Magwell as the Magazine option, and a Reload Speed Masterwork. Now for perks, players should aim for Stasis synergy as crowd control and general-purpose combat are done better by other weapons.
In the left column, Rimestealer is the brand-new perk and is amazing for Stasis synergy. It states that defeating a Frozen target or a Stasis crystal with the weapon grants you Frost Armor. This is good on its own as Frost Armor is a great defensive buff. This perk is complimented by Headstone in the right column, which allows precision kills to generate a Stasis Crystal. This perk combination will create a self-sustained gameplay loop that has amazing Stasis synergy.
PvP God Roll
Aggressive Frame Hand Cannons are impressive in the PvP of Destiny 2. Exuviae is no exception as it features some amazing perk options. Players want to boost the Range as high as possible for Crucible. This can be achieved by using Hammer Forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, and a Range Masterwork.
In the left column, there are plenty of good options. Encore that boosts Range and Stability after getting a kill. Lone Wolf boosts Range and Aim Assist of the weapon and Keep Away provides a similar effect. All of these are good dueling options and depend on the player’s preference and playstyle. In the right column, Explosive Payload is a good perk. It increases the damage falloff of the weapon as well as greatly flinches opponents. Precision Instrument is another good option that provides a relaxed time to kill by increasing damage with every hit.
