Destiny 2: Eye of Sol God Roll Guide

Eye of Sol Destiny 2

Trials of Osiris is the ultimate PvP pinnacle activity in Destiny 2. It features a 3v3 competitive mode where players can put their best weapons to the test against other players. This mode also features many rewards, including cosmetics, armor sets, and a selection of weapons. In Episode: Echoes of The Final Shape expansion there are currently 6 weapons available in the loot pool. All of these weapons come with their exclusive Trials of Osiris Origin Trait called Alacrity. It allows the weapon to gain increased Range, Reload, Stability, and Aim Assist when they are the last living member.

Eye of Sol Overview

Eye of Sol is an Adaptive Frame Kinetic Sniper Rifle which is the most desirable archetype of Snipers in both PvE and PvP. It also has some amazing stats as well as perk combinations. It also features three Origin Traits which players can switch between according to their liking. This Sniper Rifle comes with 14 perk options.

In the left column, the perks available are Shot Swap, Slickdraw, Perpetual Motion, No Distractions, Moving Target, Fragile Focus, and Air Trigger. In the right column, we have the options of Deconstruct, Keep Away, Precision Instrument, Vorpal Weapon, Opening Shot, Snapshot Sights, and Firing Line.

Eye of Sol PvE God Roll

Eye of Sol is much more tuned for The Crucible than PvE, however, it still has decent perk options for PvE. In the left column, players should consider Air Trigger as it greatly boosts the Reload Speed of the weapon. However, this boost requires the player to be in the air and then reload which can be annoying for some players.

In the left column, the damage perks that players have access to are Precision Instrument, Vorpal Weapon, and Firing Line. Firing Line is the best option as it increases Precision damage by 20 percent when you are near two or more allies. This is situational so if players want they can go with Vorpal Weapon as it will provide a flat 15 percent damage bonus.

Eye of Sol PvP God Roll

Eye of Sol is incredible in The Crucible, with a decent zoom value of 45 it has some amazing perk options for PvP. Stats do not matter much on Sniper Rifles and players should aim for an equal stat distribution of Range, Stability, and Handling when picking Barrels and Magazine options. In the left column, there are a lot of good perks but the best option is Moving Target.

This perk provides an aim assist bonus when you are aiming down sights with a weapon as well as provides a faster movement speed. In the right column, Snapshot Sights is a nice option to have but the best perk is without a doubt Opening Shot. Opening Shot is incredible on Sniper Rifles and provides the first shot of the Sniper to get bonus aim assist and Range. This perk combination will allow their players to land headshots easily in The Crucible.

Conclusion

Eye of Sol is a Trials of Osiris weapon that comes with some amazing perk options for The Crucible and lackluster perks for PvE. The combination of Moving Target in the left column with Opening Shot in the right column makes this weapon extremely accurate. Also, with the changes made in The Final Shape expansion, you can enhance the perk options making it way better than it ever was.
