Destiny 2: Found Verdict God Roll Guide

Destiny 2

Shotguns in PvE have fallen out of favor outside of One-Two Punch perk situations. Fortunately, they are still one of the best options to use in PvP, being able to one-shot most players in close quarters. Found Verdict has been a premier PvP Shotgun since the Vault of Glass’s addition to Destiny 2 toward the end of Beyond Light. Of the Vault of Glass weapons, it is the one that changed the least with the perk refresh.

Found Verdict Overview

Found Verdict is an Aggressive Frame Arc Shotgun. For most PvE players, Found Verdict will not be a weapon they actively chase, given the numerous One-Two Punch Shotguns available. However, PvP players are licking their lips at the prospect of acquiring the god roll of Found Verdict. The left column perks are Barrel Constrictor, Discord, Pugilist, Rewind Rounds, Slideshot, Threat Detector, and Threat Remover. One-Two Punch is in the right column, along with Desperate Measures, Elemental Honing, Opening Shot, Rolling Storm, Trench Barrel, and Voltshot.

PvE God Roll

The left column has a couple of options, but there is one clear winner due to its synergy with the best right column perk. Pugilist and One-Two Punch have insane synergy and lean into each other’s strengths. While going for melee hits with One-Two Punch, Found Verdict will gain extra Handling. The other part regenerates melee energy with Found Verdict eliminations, which keeps melee uptime extremely high.

One-Two Punch is the obvious option in the right column due to a Shotgun’s use, enabling melee-based builds in PvE. Barrel Shroud gives bonuses to Stability and Handling, two crucial stats to have on a PvE Shotgun. Assault Mag is a perfect choice to increase the fire rate and make shooting the Shotgun and landing your melee smoother. Lastly, a Handling Masterwork enables a quicker swap between your weapons.

  • Magazine: Assault Mag
  • Masterwork: Handling
  • Left Perk: Pugilist
  • Right Perk: One-Two Punch

PvP God Roll

What PvP perks are best to farm for on Found Verdict? Increasing Range as much as possible is imperative to all Shotguns in PvP. A higher Range stat makes it easier to hit all pellets on an enemy player. Slideshot is the preferred perk in the left column, giving increased Range and Stability upon sliding. If you have seen a player slide before shooting you in PvP, Slideshot is a big reason for that. The right column contains another perk that boosts Range and Accuracy, Opening Shot. Since you only need one shot to eliminate a player, Opening Shot is a perfect perk for players.

There are several options to boost Range with the Barrel, but many have drawbacks. Rifled Barrel and Smoothbore offer the furthest Range. Rifled Barrel reduces Handling, and Smoothbore increases Bullet Spread. Rifled Barrel is the best option if you have an exotic armor piece that boosts Handling. Smallbore provides Stability and a shorter Range, but at least does not have drawbacks. Accurized Rounds and a Range Masterwork further boost the effective Range of Found Verdict.

  • Masterwork: Range
  • Left Perk: Slideshot
  • Right Perk: Opening Shot

Acquiring The Weapon

Found Verdict drops from three encounters in the Vault of Glass Raid, Confluxes, Oracles and The Gatekeeper encounters. Suraya Hawthorne in the Tower has a quest that players can pick up to get a guaranteed crafting pattern from the final raid chest. Unlike other weapons from the Vault of Glass, the adept version of Found Verdict does not drop from a Master raid Challenge. Players can acquire the Adept Found Verdict after completing and claiming the Master Glass Triumph. Once claimed, players can buy further Adept Found Verdicts at the final raid chest after completing the Atheon Encounter on the Master Version.
