Destiny 2: How to Complete the Inverted Spire

Destiny 2 has been reworking older strikes in the game for a while now. The goal of this is to bring them in line with the current strikes as the old ones have a lower enemy density and pose no challenge at all even on Grandmaster difficulty. Inverted Spire is a strike that launched with Destiny 2 and has undergone a rework with the launch of Episode: Revenant. Here is everything that has changed and how players can complete it.

Starting the Strike

Once the players load in the Inverted Spire, they will be standing in the open world of Nessus. From there, they will be prompted to move forward where there will be some Vex combatants to fight. After defeating the Vex, an Oracle will appear and players will need to shoot it. Once that is done, new platforms will form and players will be prompted to interact with a security measure.

This will cause more platforms to appear as well as four new Oracles. Vex enemies will also spawn and defeating them will allow the players to shoot down the Oracles. Once all 4 of them are destroyed a Vex portal will open. There will be an obstacle course on the other side as well as a ton of enemies. Same deal as before keep on moving forward and destroy any Oracles that players might find.

Rest of the Strike

Once players have progressed enough, they will come across a new arena in which Vex has held some Cabals as prisoners. The goal here is simple, kill all the Vex and then kill the Cabal enemies. After that, a few more Vex enemies will spawn. Destroying them will open the blocked path and players will move forward. Keep moving forward and players will find an Oracle that is locking three tanks for players to use.

There will be a battlefield ahead and players should decide whether they want to go ahead gun-blazing or in tanks. Once the battlefield has been crossed, players will come across a force field, and to progress they will need to capture three plates. Standing on the plates will progress toward capture. However, capturing will cause Vex enemies to spawn which must be dealt with before progressing through.

After that players will be a catapult to a drill site. There the players will need to hold their ground for a while as enemies spawn in waves. Eventually, they will be allowed to progress further. There is a long obstacle course riddled with enemies that players must traverse. A giant drill is also present in the center which will one-shot players if they come in contact with it.

Boss of Inverted Spire

After progressing through the obstacle course of Inverted Spire, players will enter a new arena in which they will come face to face with Protheon, Modular Mind. The health pool of this boss is divided into three parts and each part will take players to a new arena. There are no mechanics involved just defeat the boss while avoiding his attacks and the attacks of the enemies that spawn in during the damage.
