Destiny 2: Liturgy God Roll Guide

Revenant is the second Episode launched in The Final Shape expansion of Destiny 2. It launched with brand-new activities, new Exotics, and a brand-new set of seasonal weapons. 5 of these seasonal weapons have been released in Act 1 of Revenant, with more weapons set to be released in the later acts. All these weapons come with the Origin Trait called Dark Ether Reaper. This allows the weapons to create orbs on weapon final blows. Collecting or shooting these orbs refills a portion of the weapon’s magazine, potentially overflowing them.

Liturgy is a Double-Fire Special Ammo Grenade Launcher that has Stasis affinity. It is the third-ever weapon of this archetype to be released and the first ever to have Stasis synergy. Double-Fire Grenade Launchers are extremely potent in the PvE sandbox thanks to their higher damage. Previous weapons of this archetype have lacked good perk options in the past but not this weapon.

The Origin Trait also goes well with this weapon, allowing the collection of orbs to completely bypass the reloading. This weapon has 14 perk options. In the left column, players can choose from Slideways, Surplus, Rimestealer, Strategist, Perpetual Motion, Quickdraw, and Envious Arsenal. In the right column, the perks available are Desperate Measure, One for All, Chill Clip, Harmony, Lead from Gold, Swashbuckler, and Chain Reaction.

PvE God Roll

Velocity is the most valued stat for the PvE sandbox and for that players should go with Quick Launch as the Barrel perk and a Velocity Masterwork. Now players should choose between two Magazine options depending on their playstyle. Spike Grenades are the best damage-dealing option. These increase the damage of the direct hits by Grenade Launchers. Another option available is Disorienting Grenades.

Disorienting Grenades are extremely useful utility tool that blinds all the nearby enemies. They do not deal much damage due to the lower blast radius but essentially make all nearby enemies not deal any damage to you. This is extremely useful, especially in harder content like Grandmaster Nightfalls or Raids. Every player should have at least one Grenade Launcher with Disorienting Grenade and Liturgy is a great choice.

In the left column, there are quite a few perks that players can consider. Slideways is a perk that grants a boost to Stability and reloads a portion of the magazine upon doing a slide. However, this perk has a 3-second cooldown. Rimekeeper is a brand-new perk that synergizes with Stasis as well as provides a defensive option. Upon defeating a frozen enemy or shattering a Stasis Crystal with this weapon, players get a stack of Frost Armor. It is a defensive buff, that provides damage resistance.

In the right column, Chain Reaction is a great crowd control perk. Lead from Gold is another utility perk that helps the ammo economy of this weapon. Chill Clip, however, is the best perk to have in this column. It allows the shots with this weapon to apply the Slow debuff on nearby enemies. It is a great perk for Liturgy and one that synergizes really well with the Stasis subclass in Destiny 2.
