Destiny 2: Omniscient Eye God Roll Guide

Destiny 2 revamped the Garden of Salvation Raid in the Episode: Revenant. The weapons from this Raid were given brand-new perks, a new Origin Trait, and were also made Craftable. The new Origin Trait is called Photoinhibition. It allows the weapon to deal bonus damage to enemies’ shields and overshields. Destroying the shields also causes the weapons to disorient enemies. Destroying the shield with the matching elemental type also disorients nearby enemies.

Omniscient Eye is a Rapid-Fire Frame Sniper Rifle that has Solar affinity. Rapid-Fire Frame archetypes of Sniper Rifles are decent in The Crucible but are fairly popular in PvE, thanks to their high burst damage potential. This weapon has perk options that make it excel in both of these sandboxes.

This weapon comes with 14 perk options in Destiny 2. In the left column, the perks available are Elemental Capacitor, Lead from Gold, Fourth Time’s The Charm, Sympathetic Arsenal, No Distractions, Mulligan, and Lone Wolf. In the right column, players can choose the perk options of Precision Instrument, Opening Shot, Box Breathing, Closing Time, Incandescent, Vorpal Weapon, and Snapshot Sights.

PvE God Roll

For PvE, players want to boost the Reload Speed of Omniscient Eye as high as possible. For this players should choose Corkscrew Rifling as the Barrel perk, Tactical Mag as the Magazine option, and a Reload Speed Masterwork. In the left column, Fourth Time’s The Charm is the best possible option. It allows the weapons to gain two ammo from reserves upon rapidly landing four Precision Hits. Lead from Gold is another perk that allows the weapon to gain ammo from Heavy bricks as well.

In the right column, there are two damage-dealing options. Vorpal Weapon provides the weapon with a flat 15 percent damage bonus against bosses. Precision Instrument is another damage-dealing perk that increases the damage based on the number of hits. It can stack up to 6 times and synergizes well with Fourth Time’s The Charm.

  • Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling
  • Magazine: Tactical Mag
  • Left Perk: Fourth Time’s the Charm
  • Right Perk: Precision Instrument
  • Masterwork: Reload Speed

PvP God Roll

For PvP, a balanced distribution of stats is ideal for Omniscient Eye. Players should go for Corkscrew Rifling as the Barrel perk, Accurized Rounds as the Magazine option, and a Stability Masterwork. In the left column, there are two perks that players should consider. Elemental Capacitor as it provides great Handling and Movement Speed when on Arc or Stasis Super respectively.

Lone Wolf is another perk option that increases the base Range, Aim Assist, and aiming down-sight speed. This is a great perk to have when combining it with Snapshot Sights in the right column. It is a must-have perk for Sniper Rifles, that greatly decreases the aiming down sight speed, making the weapon feel more sticky. Opening Shot is another great perk that helps the accuracy of the weapon.

  • Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Left Perk: Lone Wolf
  • Right Perk: Snapshot Sights, Opening Shot
  • Masterwork: Stability
