Destiny 2 has released a lot of Exotics over the years and with the launch of The Witch Queen expansion, Bungie has made some of those Exotics Craftable. These Craftable Exotics come with perk options that players can use according to their liking. Outbreak Perfected is an iconic Exotic that existed in the original Destiny game as well. In Season of the Wish, the Zero Hour mission was released again and with it, players got the option to make Outbreak Perfected Craftable.
Outbreak Perfected Overview
Outbreak Perfected is a Kinetic Pulse Rifle and works similarly to Lightweight Frame Pulse Rifles. This Exotic comes with the Intrinsic Trait called The Corruption Spreads which allows the weapon to create Nanite projectiles that track and damage enemy combatants on rapid Precision hits and kills. It also features an Exotic perk called Parasitism. This allows the weapon so that when the enemy is damaged by a Nanite projectile this Pulse Rifle will deal more damage to them.
This damage increases based on the number of Nanite projectiles. This makes this Exotic deal serious damage to high health targets making it one of the best Primary Ammo weapons for DPS. This weapon also has an Exotic Catalyst called Disease Vector which allows the Nanites projectiles to deal more damage and the enemy defeated by those projectiles to spawn Nanites as well
Outbreak Perfected PvE God Roll
Outbreak Perfected features 4 perk options that players can choose from; These include Outlaw, Rapid Hit, Rewind Rounds, and Headseeker. For PvE, all perks except Headseeker work well. Outlaw greatly boosts Reload Hit upon getting a Precision Kill. Rapid Hit increases the Reload Speed and Stability of the weapon based on the number of Precision hits. Rewind Rounds return 60 percent of the shots you land back to the magazine once the magazine is empty.
The role of this Exotic is to deal as much damage as possible so where Outlaw and Rapid Hit are great to have. Rewind Rounds is the obvious winner as it allows you to land more than 60 shots without reloading. This allows you to stack Nanite projectiles extremely quickly and deal high damage in a short time. Players must use Extended Mag with Rewind Rounds to fully utilize this perk.
Outbreak Perfected PvP God Roll
For The Crucible, Rapid Hit and Headseeker are pretty good options. Rapid Hit is good the benefits that Headseeker provides are simply too good to pass up. Headseeker allows body shots to land with a weapon increases the aim assist to land Precision hits and also increases the damage of the weapon. The aim assist bonus provided by Headseeker is extremely noticeable and provides for a much better dueling option.
Along with Headseeker, players must try to boost the Range stat as high as possible. Players can use Hammer-Forged Rifling as the Barrel option and Accurized Round as the Magazine option as they both increase the Range by +10. The archetype of Outbreak Perfected is not that popular in PvP but the Headseeker perk changes how this weapon duels and makes it one of the best Pulse Rifles in The Crucible.
