Destiny 2: Plug One God Roll Guide

Nightfalls are one of the challenging activities in Destiny 2, with their Grandmaster version being one of the hardest. However, these activities come with their own set of weapons. These Nightfall weapons have some of the game’s highest stats and amazing perk options. Plug One is one such Fusion Rifle with the exclusive Origin Trait called Stunning Recovery. Stunning a Champion with the weapon refills the magazine and grants health regeneration, as well as improved recovery. These weapons also come with their Adept version and can also be enhanced.

Plug One is a Precision Frame Fusion Rifle that has Arc affinity. With the launch of Episode: Revenant it now comes with brand-new perk options. This weapon also has an amazing stat package. Precision Frame Fusion Rifles also perform well in PvE and PvP sandbox. They are accurate and can one-shot opposing Guardians at a decent range.

Plug One has 12 perk options. In the left column, the perks available are Well-Rounded, Reconstruction, Feeding Frenzy, Lone Wolf, Slideways, and Under Pressure. In the right column, this weapon can roll with perks Controlled Burst, Kickstart, Voltshot, Desperate Measure, Closing Time, and Reservoir Burst.

Plug One PvE God Roll

For PvE, players want to boost the Reload Speed and Range of the weapon. Players should ideally have Small Bore as the Barrel option, Liquid Coils for the extra damage, and a Reload Speed Masterwork. In the left column, there is only one perk that players should consider, and that is Reconstruction. Plug One comes with 6 ammo in the Magazine and with a Backup Mag Mod, it can go to seven. Reconstruction allows the weapon to slowly reload itself over time up to twice the normal capacity.

Therefore, it will allow the weapon to hold 14 shots in the magazine, which is insane for a  Fusion Rifle. It will also help in bypassing the Reload. In the right column, there are two perk options depending on the player’s playstyle. Controlled Burst is best for the damage phase, as landing the entire burst on the enemy grants the weapon 20 percent extra damage as well as a shorter charge time. Reservoir Burst is much more suitable for crowd control, as the 7th and above shots in the magazine will deal bonus damage as well as cause enemies to explode on kill.

  • Barrel: Smallbore
  • Magazine: Liquid Coils
  • Masterwork: Reload Speed
  • Left Perk: Reconstruction
  • Right Perk: Controlled Burst, Reservoir Burst

Plug One PvP God Roll

For The Crucible, Fusion Rifles require all the Range and Stability they can. Therefore, players should go for Smallbore as the Barrel perk, Projection Fuse as the Magazine option, and Range Masterwork. In the left column, there are two perk options that players can utilize, Under Pressure and Lone Wolf. Both of these are amazing perk options. Under Pressure, grants bonuses to Accuracy and Stability as the Magazine gets lower. Lone Wolf provides bonuses to Aim Assist, Airborne Effectiveness, and aiming down sights speed. The benefits of the Lone Wolf perk are doubled when there are no allies nearby.

In the right column, there is only one perk that players should consider, and that is Closing Time. It is a brand-new perk that launched with Episode: Revenant and has quickly become one of the best perks for The Crucible. This perk, as the magazine gets lower, provides benefits to Range, Accuracy, and Handling. There is not much special ammo available in The Crucible to begin with, so this perk will essentially always stay active. These perk combinations make Plug One one of the best weapons in Destiny 2.

  • Barrel: Smallbore
  • Magazine: Projection Fuse
  • Masterwork: Range
  • Left Perk: Under Pressure, Lone Wolf
  • Right Perk: Closing Time
