Nightfalls are one of the hardest activities in Destiny 2, especially the Grandmaster version. It is a 3-player activity that modifies the Strike by increasing the difficulty of enemy combatants. These activities also come with some exclusive Nightfall Weapons, with their Adept version dropping from the Grandmaster. There are 6 such weapons in Episode: Echoes of The Final Shape. This article will go over one of those weapons namely Uzume RR4.
Uzume RR4 Overview
Uzume RR4 is an Adaptive Frame Sniper Rifle that has Solar affinity. Being a Nightfall weapon, it has higher stats than average and has some amazing perk combinations. It comes with three different Origin Traits the best choice out of which is Omolon Fluid Dynamics. It allows the weapon to have increased Reload Speed and Stability for the top half of the magazine.
It comes with 12 perk options. In the left column, the perks available are Snapshot Sights, Fourth Time’s The Charm, Lead from Gold, Clown Cartridge, Attrition Orbs, and Discord. In the right column, we have Incandescent, Precision Instrument, Golden Tricorn, Vorpal Weapon, Explosive Payload, and Deconstruct.
PvE God Roll
For PvE, players want a Sniper Rifle that can shoot as many shots as possible without needing to Reload. For Barrel and Magazine, players should go with Corkscrew Rifling and Extended Mag with a Reload Speed Masterwork. Now in the left column, there are two options that players must consider for Uzume RR4.
Fourth Time’s The Charm is the only perk option available that allows players to shoot more shots. It allows four Precision Shots that are fired rapidly to automatically reload two more shots in the magazine. Another perk option is Lead from Gold, which allows Heavy ammo drops to also give ammo for this weapon. It is a great utility perk to have but, in this case, Fourth Time’s The Charm is the better choice.
In the right column, players want a damage-boosting perk. Precision Instrument is a great pairing with Fourth Time’s The Charm. It allows each shot to increase the damage of the next shot and works up to six stacks. As long as the player is firing the weapon, the damage of the gun will gradually increase. Incandescent is also a decent choice if players want a crowd-control Sniper Rifle.
PvP God Roll
For PvP, players want a stat distribution, that is fairly equal for Uzume RR4. For this, players can go with Corkscrew Rifling and Accurized Rounds with a Handling Masterwork. Now in the left column, Snapshot Sights is the obvious winner and the rest of the perks can be ignored for The Crucible. This perk allows the weapon to have extremely fast aiming down sights speed.
In the right column, there are no traditional perks for The Crucible and the best option will be Explosive Payload. It does not provide any apparent benefits except for the fact that a body shot with this perk will flinch the opponent very well. This is without a doubt very advantageous in any duel.
Conclusion
Uzume RR4 is a Legendary Sniper Rifle in Destiny 2 that has Solar affinity. It has great perks for PvE with decent perks for The Crucible. For PvE, Fourth Time’s The Charm with Precision Instrument is the clear god roll. For PvP, Snapshot Sights with Explosive Payload is very decent.
