Visions have been rife since Destiny 2 players left the Vault of Glass raid. Perhaps the cause of these visions is the weapon, Vision of Confluence. The perk refresh that hit Vault of Glass in Episode: Heresy has raised the capabilities of Vision of Confluence to become a sought-after weapon.

Vision of Confluence Overview

Vision of Confluence is a Precision Frame Scout Rifle. Its affinity is Solar, and it has perks that fit perfectly within the Solar subclass. While Scout Rifles do not clear rooms of enemies incredibly fast, their strength is in Grandmaster Nightfalls. Their long-range capabilities allow players to eliminate enemies with little to no danger. Vision of Confluence is ideal for these scenarios as its perks aid its efficacy. The Solar Perks, Incandescent, and Heal Clip are in the left column alongside Demolitionist, Outlaw, Rewind Rounds, Tunnel Vision, and Zen Moment. The right column possesses several damage increase options: Desperate Measures, Elemental Honing, Explosive Payload, Firefly, Frenzy, Kill Clip, and Paracausal Affinity.

PvE God Roll

Vision of Confluence is in a unique position. It possesses Incandescent and Heal Clip in the left column alongside a damage perk in the right column. Incandescent and Heal Clip are two of the best perks in Destiny 2. Incandescent is a premier Area of Effect perk that clears rooms in seconds. Heal Clip is a defensive perk that allows players to heal after reloading from an elimination.

The right column has several damage perks, but two of them stand out from the rest. Explosive Payload is always a powerful option for primary ammo weapons with increased damage output and stagger capabilities. Frenzy is the other option players can go for. Alongside the increase in weapon damage for remaining in combat, Frenzy gives Vision of Confluence significantly increased Reload Speed and Handling.

The barrel of choice can vary based on player preference, but Smallbore is an optimal option that improves both Stability and Range. The magazine choice will depend on your previous choice between Explosive Payload and Frenzy. Tactical Mag or Extended Mag are the two choices. Extended Mag becomes an option with Frenzy since the perk increases Reload Speed, counteracting the decrease from the Magazine. A Stability Masterwork ensures your weapon remains steady while firing.

PvP God Roll

While Scout Rifles tend to struggle in PvE content outside of Grandmaster Nightfalls, they thrive in most PvP climates. Their long range makes for a better option than Hand Cannons. Unfortunately, Vision of Confluence does not fit well in PvP. The left column has one option with Zen Moment. The perk reduces recoil and flinch the more you deal damage with the weapon, which makes it ideal to guarantee that shots land. The right column has Explosive Payload, which, on top of increased damage, causes the enemies to flinch, making it harder for them to land shots.

Similarly to PvE, the Barrel options are player preference, but the recommended is Fluted Barrel for Stability and Handling. The best choice for Magazines and Masterwork is to increase the Range. In this case, we are looking at Accurized Round alongside the Range Masterwork to boost Vision of Confluence.

Attaining Vision of Confluence

Time is of the essence to attain numerous copies of Vision of Confluence. Vault of Glass is still on rotation for the next couple of days. Vision of Confluence drops from the first three encounters of the raid: Confluxes, Oracles, and Templar. Players can attain the adept version by completing the Confluxes Master Challenge while Vault of Glass is on rotation.
