Destiny 2 features a wide range of weapons belonging to different archetypes. Each of these weapons comes with a selection of perks. These perks can greatly affect how a weapon feels and performs in the PvE and PvP sandbox of the game. In PvE, weapons are mostly focused on ad-clear and in PvP they are focused on winning duels. Nightfalls are one of the most challenging activities in the game and completing them rewards players with Nightfall-exclusive weapons. Warden’s Law is also a Nightfall exclusive weapon and it belongs to the Heavy Burst frame of Hand Cannons. It comes with some amazing perks that make it the highest DPS Hand Cannon in the game.
How to Obtain Warden’s Law
Warden’s Law is a Nightfall exclusive weapon which means that you will have to wait for a specific week in which it is the Nightfall reward. Once it is a Nightfall reward, players can grind for it to their heart’s content. There are usually 6 weapons in rotations, meaning if a player misses a Warden’s Law week he will have to wait 5 more weeks to grind for it. To obtain the normal version of Warden’s Law players need to complete Nightfalls with higher difficulty Nightfalls providing an extra chance of obtaining. Players can also get the Adept version of Warden’s Law by completing Grandmaster Nightfalls. Grandmaster Nightfalls are challenging but they give a guaranteed drop of the weapon.
Warden’s Law Overview
Warden’s Law is a Kinetic Heavy Burst Hand Cannon that fires a hard-hitting, two-round burst. It also slightly reduces flinching from incoming fire while aiming. This intrinsic feature of the archetype is highly desirable in The Crucible. Hard-hitting two-round burst weapons also deal a lot of damage in PvE. Warden’s Law also features 12 perk options with 6 in the left column and 6 in the right. In the left column, we have perk options like Demolitionist, Enlightened Action, To The Pain, Fourth Time’s The Charm, Moving Target, and Perpetual Motion. In the right column, Adrenaline Junkie, Frenzy, Kill Clip, Rampage, Zen Moment, and Vorpal Weapon.
Warden’s Law PvE God Roll
The main appeal of Warden’s Law in PvE comes from its synergy with the Hunter Exotic Lucky Pant which greatly boosts the damage of Kinetic Hand Cannons making them a DPS monster. So for PvE, players must focus on the perks which further increases the damage of this weapon. In the left column, there is no damage boosting option available so players should opt for one that boosts the Reload Speed of this weapon. Enlightened Action is a great choice for simply boosting the Reload Speed as it states that dealing damage improves Reload Speed and Handling.
However, the best perk in the left column will be Fourth Time’s the Charm as it states that rapidly landing precision hits will return two rounds to the magazine. This will essentially allow players to keep shooting the target without needing to reload for a longer time. This further enhances its synergy with Lucky Pants. In the right column, players must choose a damage-boosting perk and the best choice for that is Vorpal Weapon as it increases the damage against bosses by 20 percent for Primary ammo weapons. Vorpal Weapon does not have a condition that needs to be fulfilled to be used it is just a flat damage bonus.
Warden’s Law PvP God Roll
Heavy Burst archetype of Hand Cannons is not mostly used in The Crucible due to their unforgiveness. These weapons have a much higher time to kill than other weapons forcing players to be extremely accurate with the weapon to win their duels. For Barrels and Magazine options, players must go with options that boost the Range of the weapon. These options include Hammer Forged Rifling and Accurized Rounds. Range masterwork will also be a great option as it will increase the Range stat by +10.
In the left column for The Crucible, Moving Target is the best possible option as it provides increased movement speed and target acquisition when aiming down sights. This will help the players in their duel by making the weapon more accurate. In the right column, players want perks that decrease the time to kill this weapon, so a damage-boosting perk is needed. Kill Clip is highly desirable as it provides a 25 percent bonus damage when you reload after securing a kill. This perk combination will allow players to be more accurate as well as easily chain kills due to extra provided damage.
