Disney Dreamlight Valley Confirms Exciting Star Wars Content in the Works

Disney Dreamlight Valley announces Star Wars content

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a cozy life simulation game that lets the player create their own little life while hanging out with Disney characters and going on adventures. The popular game has received many updates and two DLC packs since it was first released. Now, players will be able to collect items from a galaxy far, far away.

The official site for Disney Dreamlight Valley doesn’t yet say anything about Star Wars content. ScreenRant states that an update is coming soon where players will be able to purchase Star Wars-related items with in-game currency. Players will apparently be able to buy Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi robe from Revenge of the Sith, a lightsaber (of course), and they will even be able to purchase R2-D2 as a companion. Being able to go adventuring with the beloved little astromech droid will undoubtedly please both Disney and Star Wars fans.

Will More Star Wars Content Come Later?

Of course, the addition of these items has fans speculating about what the future might hold. Will more Star Wars content be coming later? Will players be able to dress in Queen Amidala’s lavish gowns or Emperor Palpatine’s sinister robes? Will C-3PO someday join his buddy R2-D2 as a possible companion? Could Luke Skywalker and Han Solo become your neighbors?

And, of course, there’s the question of whether or not a Star Wars realm could be added. The recent Tales of Agrabah update and the upcoming Alice in Wonderland realm show that the game is still receiving plenty of support. There is plenty of potential to be had with letting players go on adventures in the galaxy far, far away, and players would definitely love a Star Wars realm.

Conclusion

While the update does not have a confirmed release date yet, it will apparently be out before May 4th, which is considered Star Wars Day in the Star Wars fanbase. This will let you dress up as Anakin, brandish your new lightsaber, and, of course, hang out with R2-D2 to celebrate Star Wars Day. Whatever the game’s Star Wars future might be, these will undoubtedly be fun items.
