Bioware’s latest addition to the Dragon Age series, Dragon Age the Veilguard, is scheduled to be released on October 31, 2024. In the run-up to its release, the company has expanded on the details regarding what times the game will go live globally. This includes exact times and dates on PC, as well as dates for pre-loading the game on consoles. Therefore, allowing players to prepare for the game ahead of time; so, they can jump right into the world of Thedas as soon as possible.
Preload Times
PC players won’t be able to pre-load Dragon Age the Veilguard, as there will not be any available DRM (Digital Rights Management,) like Denuvo. Console players, however, can do so before the game’s launch. For the Xbox series X/S users, the pre-load is already available for download via their game library once they have confirmed a purchase from the Xbox store. PS5 players can download the pre-load starting on October 29, 2024, at 9 AM PDT.
Pre-load times, based on the player’s location, are the following:
- UK – October 29th at 4 PM (BST)
- Europe – October 29th at 5 PM (CEST)
- West Coast US – October 29th at 9 AM (PT)
- Central US – October 29th at 11 AM (CT)
- East Coast US – October 29th at 12 PM (ET)
- Japan – October 30th at 1 AM (JST)
- Australia – October 30th at 2 AM (AET)
Release Times
Release times for Dragon Age the Veilguard have been determined by time zones and the game will go live accordingly. For the USA, that means that the game will drop at noon for players on the East Coast, at ten in the morning for players in the central US, and at nine in the morning for players on the West Coast. For players based in Europe and the Middle East: the game will go live at 4 PM, 7 PM, or 9:30 PM, depending on their location.
Players in Central Asia will see a release time of 9:30 PM. Western Australia’s players will get access to the game at 11 PM. Eastern Australia, Japan, and New Zealand’s release times will be 1 AM, 3 AM, and 5 AM, respectively, on November 1, 2024.

To play Dragon Age the Veilguard on PC, the player must have the following minimum specs:
