Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a highly anticipated sequel to the Dragon Age: Inquisition that is releasing on October 31, 2024. It is being developed by Bioware and published by Electronic Arts. It is an action RPG that follows the story of a new hero who faces Tevinter, darkspawn, and the Dread Wolf. Gamescom has released a new look at the game and this article will go over the Character Creation.
Importing Decisions from Previous Games
Dragon Age: The Veilguard allows players to bring back their character from Inquisiton into this game. Veilguard will have the option of allowing players to use the same customization options that they used in the prequel. However, players can create a completely new character from the start. Players will take control of the character Rook and will be able to customize its gender, height, race, and background elements.
Players will have full control over the full body customization. Players can precisely choose and customize each body part. These include but are not limited to height and weight. Detailed options also include customization options like Nose jobs, Eye color, Eye symmetry, tattoos, and makeup options.
Races Available
Players can choose one of four races for their character Rook in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. These include:
- Human: These are the most populous and powerful race in Thedas but are also the most corrupted in their greed for power and ambition.
- Elf: Elves are the most oppressed race in the franchise and are distinguished thanks to their pointy ears.
- Dwarf: This short, sturdy, and strong race survives underground. This race cannot be a mage.
- Qunari: A race of horned giants that follows a religious text known as the Qun. Those who have abandoned their faith are known as Tal-Vashoth and work as mercenaries.
