Call of Duty League 2026 Opening Weekend Schedule Revealed

The Call of Duty League (CDL) has officially unveiled the schedule for its highly anticipated opening weekend, set to kick off the 2026 season from December 5th to 7th. All 12 franchises will dive into the new title, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, competing in a series of marquee matchups to begin their campaigns for the first Major of the year.

Call of Duty League Key Matchups and Format

The opening weekend will feature three days of intense competition, with three best-of-five matches scheduled for each day. Winning teams will earn 10 CDL Points, which are crucial for determining seeding ahead of Major 1, scheduled to take place in Dallas, Texas, from January 29th to February 1st, 2026.

The action begins on Friday, December 5th, with a blockbuster clash as defending champions OpTic Texas start their title defense against the newly formed superteam, the Riyadh Falcons. The day also features a showdown between the Los Angeles Thieves and FaZe Vegas, two powerhouse organizations with championship aspirations.

Saturday, December 6th, will mark the debut of several rebranded franchises. Toronto KOI will face off against the Miami Heretics, while Paris Gentle Mates takes on the new-look Vancouver Surge.
