LCK Cup 2026 Match Review: T1 Performs a Miracle to beat KT 2-0
T1 and KT Rolster face off for the first time since the World Championship Grand Final. T1 is undefeated in the LCK Cup so far. T1 came speeding out of the blocks with the first game. They shrugged off KT’s attempts. The second game looked dire for T1. Somehow, they managed a miracle comeback. After being down 14k gold, T1 stalled long enough for them to scale.

Game One Summary
Pollu starts for KT. The game exploded early with Faker earning a solo kill on Bdd. Shortly after, Peyz and Keria earned a kill on Pollu. T1 came out on top in the first skirmish, as they instantly turned on Cuzz. The teams trade kills, but it is T1 that earns more gold and Towers on the map. KT tries to force on Doran in the Mountain Soul fight. He lives long enough for T1 to kill Cuzz and chunk most of KT. T1 drags KT to Baron. They instantly turn and kill four members to get the Baron. T1 ends the game off the Baron push after KT tries a teleport flank.

Game Two Summary
Ghost subs in for game two. Doran pushes too far in the top lane, punished by Cuzz for First Blood. KT’s early game goes better as they find kills on Faker and Peyz. T1 managed to keep the game close by getting the first two Towers. Oner stole KT’s Ocean Soul point, but they lost the fight. T1 followed that up with a Baron force, but it failed. KT kills all T1 members and secures the Baron. The gold lead crests 8k gold as KT pushes with Baron.
The game slows down as KT secures another Baron and the Ocean Soul. They are unable to end the game. T1 gets the Elder Drake to stall the game further. It goes to another Baron and Elder Drake. T1 gets the Baron, while KT gets the Elder. During this time, Bdd and PerfecT tried to go for the base. T1 defended their base against the Elder and ended the game after a Cuzz mistake.

Series Summary

T1 opened the series with a dominant game one victory. Their teamfighting and laning kept KT at bay. KT managed to find a couple of kills throughout the game. However, it was not enough for them to recover.
It was looking like KT would send the series to a third game. They had a 14k gold lead, with T1 penned into their base. KT punished T1’s Baron force, which helped them build that lead. KT could not find any angles to end the game. Somehow, T1 stalled for multiple Barons and Elder Drakes, even able to secure one of each. Eventually, Cuzz tried to force a play, but T1 pounced. They ended the game with a miracle comeback in the longest game of the LCK Cup so far.
