LCK Cup Week 3 Predictions: The Super Week Promises Excitement

The LCK Cup Group Battle has one week left before the post-season. The final week is dubbed the Super Week. This week, teams with identical seeding will face off against each other in a best-of-five series. The winner earns two points for their respective group. With Group Baron and Elder tied, the group with three series victories this week will be the group victor.

Total Apex LCK Cup Week 3 Predictions

If our predictions are correct, Group Baron will be the victor of the Group Battle. That will mean that Gen.G Esports and T1 qualify for the Playoffs.

HANJIN BRION Versus DRX

Prediction: DRX 3-1

DRX may be the lowest seed in Group Elder, but they have shown an ability to contend with the best teams. HANJIN BRION is no slouch either, having lost 2-1 in three of the series. However, BRO’s wins have often come due to misplays from their opponents. DRX, on the other hand, has pushed teams to the brink and looked dominant in some matches. DRX will likely not have a clean series victory, but they are the favorites.

DN SOOPers Versus FearX

Prediction – BFX 3-2

FearX has impressed the most out of the non-top four teams. They held their own against T1 last week. Diable is one of the most explosive AD carries. If he gets an advantage, there is little that teams can do to stop him. However, they are not always consistent; their series against BRO is an example of this. DN SOOPers are also an inconsistent team. At times, they can compete with the best. But then, in other games, they are not competitive. The series should be scrappy and will likely go the distance.

Nongshim Redforce Versus KT Rolster

Prediction: NS 3-2

Getting a read on either of these teams is tricky. Both have had impressive moments, but have also struggled at times. NS beat Hanwha Life Esports, but lost to FearX and DRX. Their peak has been higher than that of KT Rolster. KT’s has yet to find their starter Support, but with Bdd and Cuzz on the roster, they are always lethal.

T1 Versus Dplus KIA

Prediction: T1 3-1

Historically, Dplus KIA have struggled against T1 in best-of-five series. Their only recent win came in 2024, which qualified them for the World Championship. DK started the LCK Cup well, but at the first sign of challenge, they crumbled. Yes, that was against Gen.G Esports, but the series was not close. T1, overall, has dominated, but often has one weaker game in the series. T1 should win, but it will not be a 3-0.

Hanwha Life Esports Versus Gen.G Esports

Prediction: Gen.G 3-1

Gen.G Esports has yet to lose a game in the LCK Cup. They swept aside DK in their recent series. At the start of the LCK Cup, Hanwha Life Esports would have had a chance. However, given their recent struggles, it seems impossible for them to contend with Gen.G. They might be able to take a game off the defending LCK Cup Champions. However, it will require significant improvement from the roster.

  2. FearX – 3-2, 8-7, +1
  3. Hanwha Life Esports – 2-3, 6-9, -3
  4. DRX – 2-3, 7-8, -1
  5. KT Rolster 2-3, 6-9, -3

Group Baron – 16 Points

  1. Gen.G Esports – 5-0, 11-1, +10
  2. T1 – 5-0, 11-4, +7
  3. Nongshim Redforce – 2-3, 7-8, -1
  4. DN SOOPers, 1-4, 6-10, -4
  5. HANJIN BRION, 0-5, 4-11, -7
