MSI 2025: Anyone’s Legend Versus Bilibili Gaming The LPL First Seed Dominates

Anyone’s Legend proved that they are the best team in the LPL region at the moment. Similarly to Bilibili Gaming’s series against T1, the LPL second seed struggled to compete with their opponents. AL now has its sights set on defeating the LCK at MSI. First, they must beat the LCK second seed T1 in the Lower Bracket Final to set up a rematch against GenG Esports.

Summary

Beichyan clears three camps into a bot gank. Elk gets the First Blood. AL gets all three Grubs, while BLG trades for the first Drake. With map movements and a second gank from Beichuan, Bin has a gold lead over Flandre. AL overloads in the top lane to get Flandre a kill and two towers, giving up Drake and a bot tower. AL catch Beichuan and ON to open up an Atakhan take. BLG does not contest and trades for the Mountain Soul point. The team fight for BLG’s soul starts with a standoff. AL’s execution is better as they deny the soul.

ON finds Kael to set up a potential Baron take. AL contests the objective to force BLG off, but Flandre dies in the exchange. Both teams reset for another Drake fight. Tarzan wins the smite battle, and in the extended play, AL gets two kills for one death. ON and Knight both find all five AL members with their ultimates on the Baron, but somehow AL wins the fight with two members standing. Tarzan and Flandre start Baron in Beichuan’s face, and once again, the AL jungler wins the smite battle. With their first significant gold lead, AL is relentless and ends the game with a charge down the mid lane.

The difference in game two is that AL fights on the first Drake and gets three kills. The second Drake goes in the opposite direction, as AL gets the objective but loses the fight.

Summary

Beichuan gets the First Blood for Knight on Shanks. Shanks responds by securing the solo kill on his opposite number. Both teams dive the enemy top laners. They get the kills, but on BLG’s side, ON dies as well. BLG has their first Grubs of the series. Beichuan’s early game is phenomenal in getting his lanes ahead. The map is a blood bath with 14 kills in the first 16 minutes traded evenly. BLG overextends on the top tier two and ends up losing four members. AL continues to dominate, and they get a significant gold lead.

On the Baron spawn, AL pushes too far and BLG wins the fight to secure the objective. The gold lead for AL evaporates. BLG does not find further advantages with the Baron push. BLG uses a pick on Shanks to go towards the Baron. A hook from Kael on Beichuan means the teams are on even footing. When Shanks respawns, AL forces the Baron. The kills are traded 4 for 2 in favor of AL, and Tarzan smites the Baron.

With AL on Mountain Soul point, BLG must contest the next Drake. ON gets caught again, which gives AL Baron. BLG secures the Drake to deny the soul. In the last seconds of the Baron powerplay, AL wins the game and the series.

Reaction

AL was far and away the best team in this series. BLG secured some leads through the early game, but when it came to teamfights and skirmishes, AL were better. Their only real blunder was losing a 6k gold lead in game three. BLG is eliminated from MSI, while AL progresses to face T1 in the Lower Bracket Final. It is now AL versus the LCK if they want to lift the MSI trophy.
