Early Game Highlights: Aggressive Moves in the LTA

  • SR invades blue side bot jungle. They don’t take anything but they do ward up the area and get full vision of the raptors side and Red Buff. Keine clears out the ward near raptors with his sweepers.
  • Apparent from this early vision battle, early game starts out without too much excitement. Then, when the hit level 2, Bvoy and Ceos make aggressive moves against DIG’s bot lane. Ceos manages to hook Tomo. They chase him down lane. Both Tomo and Bvoy Flash but Isles manages to save his carry with a well-timed knock up.
  • Sheiden predicts Contractz’ roaming path based on the wards that were placed earlier and tries to lay a trap for him at bot raptors. Unfortuantely for him, Ceos set up a trap before could so Sheiden walks face first into Coes waiting for him in the bush next to raptors. Sheiden has to Flash to survive.
  • Both top and bot lanes switch. Farming all the live long day. Early game ends with Fudge hitting level 6. DIG has the gold lead (200) and the farm lead.

Mid Game Highlights: Contractz Starts to Build a Lead for SR

  • Contractz invades Sheiden’s jungle and Smites away the large raptor. Both teams set up for Voidgrubs.
  • Sheiden tries to gank top lane but DIG is unable to get a kill and Sheiden leave heavily damaged. Contractz takes the first set of Voidgrubs uncontested.
  • More farming.
  • Bvoy and Ceon caught out in top river. Sheiden and Isles jump on to Ceos, knocking him so that Tomo can snare him at a distance. Bvoy tries to push Sheiden and Isles off his support by using his ult but Ceos dies to the long range shots of Tomo’s ult, giving up First Blood.
  • Ceos hangs around a little too far down mid lane and gets dove by Keine who uses Emporer’s Divide to push Ceos back into the waiting arms of Sheiden and Isles. Ceos dies to Sheiden but Contractz joins and dives onto Keine and kills him. Fight goes 1-1.
  • Contractz starts up the second set of Voidgrubs. Both teams dance around each other. DIG starts to get more aggressive. Bvoy pops Bullet Time, scattering DIG. SR manages to chase DIG away and then returns to the Grubs, taking all of them.
  • Both teams start to farm and set up for Drake. Contractz invades red side bot jungle and chase Sheiden, who was doing Red Buff, out. Sheiden manages to get Red before he’s forced out though.
  • Sheiden has to home, leaving Contractz free to take the first Drake (Infernal) uncontested. Lots of posturing, warding, and farming.
  • Mid game ends due to time with SR now in the lead in both farm and gold (900).

Late Game Highlights: DIG Overrun by a Pack of Hounds

  • Palafox and Ceos try to gank Tomo, chasing him down the space between outer and inner top turret but he Flashes away and they retreat back up lane. As Tomo returns to his outer turret, Contractz arrive and the dive him again, this time killing him with Contractz securing the kill. Isles arrives too late to help.
  • Fudge takes down outer bot turret for First Turret of the game. DIG take Rift Herald uncontested. Farming. Palafox takes top out turret. More farming.
  • Sheiden drops Herald mid. It doesn’t even make it pass the middle of mid lane before it dies. SR take the second Drake (Hextech) uncontested.
  • More farming!
  • Using Weaver’s Wall to block off DIG, SR take the out mid turret, last outer turret for DIG. Contractz gets caught out in red side bot jungle but gets away without issue.
  • Sheiden and Isles try to catch out Palafox. Sheiden does tag Palafox and jumps on him but Contractz is nearby. Palafox and Contractz bring Sheiden low, and he has to retreat, allowing Contractz to start up the Voracious Atakhan that spawned near bot.
  • Fudge TPs in and DIG try to jump on him, but the rest of SR are there to assist. Bvoy actives Bullet Time but doesn’t get a lot of damage out of it because Keine walks out and Palafox Seismic Shoves Tomo out of it. Tomo dies anyway to Contractz and Isles gets destroyed bu Fudge. Keine flees to the broke outer bot turret and summons a turret of his own to farm minions and keep him safe. SR take the Atakhan.
  • Ceos gets caught out in red side bot jungle but he’s tanky enough to survive multiple members of DIG attack him while his teammates head over. When the rest of SR arrive, Fudge kills Sheiden and Isles. Thanks to the Atakhan revive, SR wins the fight 2-0.
  • SR take the inner mid turret and then take the third Drake (Mountain). They are now on Soul Point.
  • Both teams start setting up for Baron. DIG tries going in, jumping on to Ceos who hooks himself away. Isles tries to get on to Bvoy but he kills him instead. DIG focus down Ceos, with Tomo taking the kill. DIG then try to retreat but SR chase after them. Contractz kills Sheiden and then Srtty. SR goes 3-1 and takes Baron.
  • Keine uses Zhonya’s to avoid a hook from Ceos nearby bot base turret but almost dies when the effect ends because everyone just layers abilities on top of him. Meanwhile at mid base turret, Tomo almost dies to Contractz. Srtty is up top lane split-pushing. He gets the outer top turret but has to back as SR take bot and mid base turret and bot inhibitor. SR retreat to set up for objectives.
  • Palafox and Fudge split-pushing top side, almost die to Tomo’s Curtain Call but Fudge gets them out with Realm Warp.
  • Tomo gets caught out by Contractz and deleted. Bvoy uses Bullet Time over a wall to severely damage Keine and Sheiden. Srtty Teleports in and immediately has Flash to not get caught out. Keine gets snared by Fudge, then killed by Contractz. SR chase the rest of DIG back to their base and end the game, while killing Sheiden and Isles (Bvoy gets the credit).

Post Game Analysis: And a Jungler Will Lead Them

SR ends the game at 31:56 with a gold lead of 3.9k. The final score is 14-3 for SR. SR shows what they are capable of. Unlike the game they played at the end of the last week against 100T, SR utilizes their team comp as it is intended to be used.

Contractz in particular had an excellent game. He was involved in almost every fight and led the charge against DIG. One small issue is that SR might need to work a little on communication. While it didn’t end up being an issue this time around, there could be a situation in which Palafox shoving people out of Bvoy’s Bullet Time could lead to a lost team fight.
