FNCS 2025 Day 1: Queasy’s Trio Crushes the Competition
The FNCS Global Championship kicked off today in Lyon, France, and it didn’t take long for the action to heat up. Thirty-three trios from around the world dropped into six matches, each one packed with high-stakes plays, brutal zone endings, and leaderboard-shaking moments.
Right now, it’s Europe on Top—and it’s not Even Close.
Queasy, Merstach, and Swizzy came out swinging. With three Victory Royales and a whopping 521 points, they’re miles ahead of the competition. Their rotations were clean, their positioning was perfect, and when it came to endgame control, they looked untouchable.
Behind them, Vanyak3kk, MariusCOW, and Pixie sit at 336 points. No wins yet, but they’ve been consistent, playing smart and staying alive when it counts. Panzer, Setty, and Japko are close behind with 328, showing that calculated play can still keep pace with raw aggression.
North America had a rough day. Boltz, Rapid, and Khanada are holding it down in fifth with 267 points and one win, but other NA favorites didn’t show up. Cold, Peterbot, and Ritual—a trio many expected to dominate—finished 24th with just 85 points. They couldn’t convert early-game fights into anything meaningful, and it showed.
Brazil’s trio of K1nG, Phzin, and Fazer had a mixed performance. They ended the day in 13th place with 166 points, but here’s the twist—they racked up 25 eliminations across the first five matches. That’s serious firepower. Unfortunately, they couldn’t turn those frags into top placements, and in Match 6, they dropped out early with zero elims. It was a tough finish to an otherwise aggressive showing.
