Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage Day Eight: Worlds Finalists Survive
The 2024 Worlds Finalists survived a scare today by defeating their LTA opponents. Both teams won 2-0, but the victories were less than impressive. There were far too many mistakes for their fans to get excited about them advancing. Vivo Keyd Stars and 100 Thieves see their year come to an end. For 100T, their last heist is over, and the organization will no longer participate in professional League of Legends.
Worlds 2025 Bilibili Gaming Versus Vivo Keyd Stars
The dives from both teams in game one were not executed well. Either team could have garnered a significant advantage from them, but the game remained even. BLG started to take over macro-wise and locked VKS out of the first game. The worries for BLG continued throughout the series. From failed executions to getting caught out in terrible positions, BLG gave VKS a chance. Knight was the only player who maintained a dominant performance. BLG got lucky to get a back-door victory to close out the series.

Worlds 2025: T1 Versus 100 Thieves

The Thieves refused to go down without a fight in the series. Every time T1 garnered an advantage, 100T were there to punish the mistakes from the defending World Champions. Unfortunately for the LTA third seed, they did not hold onto any leads. River’s smites were on point, stealing away multiple objectives from Oner. Worries continue to grow for T1 as they were out of sorts today, and are nowhere near the form we have seen from them in past Worlds.
