Elden Ring features a ton of Dexterity weapons and with the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, that list has only grown. Dexterity weapons are known for their quick movesets. These allow them to build very nicely with status effects as they apply those effects much faster than other weapons in the game. This list will go over the three best Dexterity weapons in the game that every player should have.
Hand of Malenia
Hand of Malenia is a Remembrance Weapon that drops from Malenia, Blade of Miquella. It is optional and one of the hardest bosses in the game. It deals only Physical damage and scales mostly with Dexterity. It has the highest Dexterity requirement out of any weapon which is 48. It comes with an initial scaling of C in Dexterity which can be improved to B.
This weapon is a Katana and therefore can apply the Bleed status effect. It comes with the skill of Waterfowl Dance. This iconic attack allows the player to jump into the air and then leap forward at the target doing a flurry of attacks. This attack has an extremely effective range and is extremely hard to dodge. It also pairs well with multi-hit Talismans and builds up Bleed quickly as well.
Scavenger’s Curved Sword
Scavenger’s Curved Sword is a Curved Sword that is obtainable from Mt. Gelmir. Curved Sword movesets are extremely quick and they do very high stance damage. These are also one of the best weapons to power stance and having two Scavengers Curved Sword makes for one of the most devastating builds of all time.
This weapon comes with a scaling of D in both Strength and Dexterity and requires 9 Strength and 14 Dexterity to wield. It comes with the initial Skill of Spinning Slash but it can be infused with other Ashes of War. This weapon also comes with intrinsic Bleed buildup. Power standing with this weapon and performing jump attacks against bosses is one of the best builds in the game.
Backhand Blade
Backhand Blade is a new weapon archetype that was released with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. There are three weapons of this type where the Backhand Blade is the most basic yet the best. It comes with an initial scaling of D in both Strength and Dexterity which can be upgraded to S with maximum upgrades. This weapon also requires 10 Strength as well as 13 Dexterity to wield effectively.
This weapon comes with the initial Skill called Blind Spot but it can be infused with other Ashes of War. Backhand Blade has an extremely quick moveset, decent range, and deals a lot of damage in a short time frame. It has access to some of the best Ashes of War in the game which takes it to the next level. This makes this weapon one of the best weapons from the DLC and the best Dexterity weapon.
