Elden Ring just released its brand-new DLC called Shadow of the Erdtree. This DLC added a lot of new weapons to the already large roster of existing weapons. This DLC also appeared with a lot of new Faith spells as well as weapons. Faith is one of the strongest stats in the games. Incantations and weapons that are associated with this stat are some of the best. There are a lot of such weapons but this list will go over the top 3 that every player running a Faith build must have.
Coded Sword
Coded Sword is one of the most unique weapons in the game thanks to the fact that it deals only Holy damage. It is a Straight Sword which has some of the fastest and high damaging movesets in the game. This weapon scales purely of Faith and has only the requirement of 20 Faith to use. It deals only Holy damage, which is not the best damage type but it is extremely good for pure Faith builds in which players are leveling up only Faith.
This weapon has the weapon skill called Unblockable Blade. This skill extends the length of the Coded Sword blade and then performs a horizontal sweeping attack. This sweeping attack is capable of hitting multiple enemies at an extended range. This weapon also has the intrinsic bonus that it can not be blocked and does not experience bounce when striking against Shields. It also powers stances very well with Sword of Light and Sword of Darkness in the DLC.
Magma Blade
Magma Blade is a Curved Sword, weapons that are extremely popular thanks to their high-damage output, quick moveset, and stance damage. Magma Blade drops from the Man-Serpent enemies in the Volcano Manor and scales off of Strength, Dexterity, and Faith. This weapon deals Physical as well as Fire damage. Physical damage is boosted by Strength and Dexterity whereas Fire damage is boosted by Faith.
This weapon comes with the weapon skill called Magma Shower. This skill scales purely with Faith which allows players to do a spinning attack that spreads Magma on the ground. This Magma deals damage over time and additional inputs of the skill allow the player to continue the spinning attack. This skill is extremely good for boss DPS, damage over time, as well as Stance breaking.
Blasphemous Blade
Blasphemous Blade is a Remembrance weapon that drops from Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. It is a Greatsword which are considered the best weapon archetype thanks to their amazing movesets and damage. This weapon also deals Physical and Fire damage. The Physical damage is boosted by Strength and Dexterity whereas Fire damage is boosted by Faith.
This weapon has one of the best Skills in the entire game called Taker’s Flame. It allows the players to slam their swords in the ground which sets off a wave of Magma fire in a straight line. This skill scales purely with Faith deals a massive amount of damage and travels far. This skill alone makes this weapon one of the best in the game thanks to how easy it is to use and take advantage of.
