If you adore Studio Ghibli’s recent masterpiece, The Boy and the Heron, or any of their other fantastic films, Europa offers a perfect break from watching Spirited Away for the 50th time. Let’s admit it—we’ve all been there.
Everything You Need To Know Before Playing Europa
Europa is a relaxing journey of exploration, adventure, and meditation. It’s set to release on April 16th on Steam, with console release to follow. Set on the moon Europa, an overgrown haven in the shadow of Jupiter, an android named Zee embarks on a quest for the truth. As you travel this landscape, you’ll slowly improve the powers of your Zephyr jetpack, propelling yourself higher into the skies until you can finally soar among the clouds.
“From time to time, I ask myself, is it possible to miss something you’ve never known? Let me rephrase: Is it possible to be homesick from a place you’ve never been? I was born on Earth, but I think I have been homesick from Europa my whole life. By the time you read this, I’ll be gone, and the world will look very different from how it does now. But the island should still be there; they built this thing to last. Come to the island if you ever get lonely; come here and think of me.” – Europa Gameplay Trailer
