Honkai: Star Rail’s live stream for their 2.6 update has recently gone live and with it comes a new character, re-runs, and so much more. I will take you through it all as we cover the most important details in the recent 2.6 update. Let’s begin!
Honkai Star Rail 2.6 Release date
Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 update is set to be released Tuesday, Oct. 22nd at 11 PM(EST.) Other time zones will be the following:
- West Coast: Tuesday 22nd October, 8 pm (PT)
- Central US: Tuesday 22nd October, 10 pm (CT)
- Japan: Wednesday 23rd October, 12pm (JST)
- Australia: Wednesday 23rd October, 2 pm (AET)
- UK: Wednesday 23rd October, 4 am (BST)
- Europe: Wednesday 23rd October, 5 am (CEST)
Phase 1 Banner
The Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 update will introduce a new face, Rappa, and a new banner to support her. Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine will return in banner re-runs. Like always in Honkai: Star Rail 5-stars and 4-stars will be boosted during their banners. Phase 1 will bring Rappa and Imbibitor Lunae:
- Rappa is a new 5-Star Imaginary attacker of the Erudition Path. She arrives in the Eyes of the Ninja Banner, as her Banner states, she is a shinobi-styled DJ who comes forth using ninjutsu to stylize her attacks and even her ultimate.
- Imbibitor Lunae is a 5-star Imaginary attacker from the Destruction Path.
Coming with them will be a set of boosted 4-stars:
- Lynx is a Quantum support following the Abundance Path.
- Xueyi, another Quantum attacker from the Destruction Path.
- Yukong is an Imaginary support from the Harmony Path.
Phase 2 Banner
Phase 2 Banner of Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 will bring both Acheron and Aventurine back to the pools for Trailblazers to come back to.
- Acheron is a 5-star Lightning attacker who follows the Nihility Path.
- Aventurine is a 5-star Imaginary attacker in the Preservation Path.
Along with Acheron and Aventurine comes three 4-star characters:
- March 7th Ice support that follows the Preservation Path.
- Pela, Ice support character that follows the Nihility Path
- Sampo a wind attacker that follows the Nihility Path
In addition to these characters dropping, their Light Cones will be returning with their respective banners allowing you to pull them for any of the 5-star and 4-star dropping, along with Rappa’s 5-star ‘Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker’ dropping, naturally. With these a 4-star Light Cone from the Abundance Path, ‘Dream’s Montage’ drops on the Pase 1 Light Cone Banner.
New Relics, Events, and Materials
Two new relics will be coming with the Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 update, Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal, and Scholar Lost in Erudition, both will be dropping in the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Uncertainty. Chordal Mirage will be the new Imagainary Ascension Material from Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Timbre, this should be the Material needed for Rappa. Events are coming, as always and they bring goodies like they usually do with some new ones as well in the Honkai: Star Rail 2.6:
Returning Events
- Garden of Plenty and Planar Fissure will be returning, if you don’t know what they are; Garden of Plenty will double drops coming from Crimsion and Golden Calyx for Character Exp, Materials, and Credits. Planar Fissure is for double rewards when running for Planar Ornaments for your characters.
- Gift of Odyssey will be returning, as usual, to supply Trailblazers with 7 days worth of Premium Summoning tickets: A total of 10 in the span of 7 days.
New Events
Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription will be dropping to give Character Mats, a new 4-star light cone ‘Ninja Record: Sound Hunt‘, Stellar Jades, and a new skin for your in-game messages when you receive texts from the characters in-game. Sampo will be giving Trailblazers a new quest with Mr. Cold Feet’s Pop-Up Shop, who knows what he is up to, but it’s probably nothing good, or at least… normal. This event will reward Trailblazers with Character EXP, Stellar Gems, and consumable materials for exchange of trading material to him at a certain rate.
Shadow of the Ranger will be arriving with the Galaxy Ranger Boothill on the reign, you will collect info and complete assignments for Stellar Gems and Mats. A new game mode will be arriving in the Simulated Universe: Unknownable Domain, delivering a new experience of exploration and fighting. This will also be updating the Simulated Universe store to bring in past 4-star light cones and upgrade materials for the light cones so no one can miss the action.
