5 Killers Players Want to See in Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight is known as the “Horror Hall of Fame” because of the wide variety of ghosts, killers, and entities in the game. A player can maim helpless survivors playing as Michael Myers, Sadako, Charle Lee Ray, and other licensed horror killers. But there are still many licensed horrors players hope will eventually join the trials. The list extends across movies, games, television, and comic books. While we cannot cover them all, here is a list of five killers players want to see in Dead by Daylight.

Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th)

The hockey-masked maniac from Friday the 13th is considered to be the most requested killer. With Freddy, Bubba, and Pinhead in Dead by Daylight, Voorhees seems like the missing piece of the puzzle. Hearing “ki ki ki ma ma ma” while working on a generator before Voorhees comes around the corner would be a terrifying part of the game.

Dead by Daylight has confirmed a licensed killer coming in March 2025. This has left some to wonder if this means the Camp Crystal Lake Killer is coming to hunt survivors. If so, we can only hope for a Lake map with the head of Pamela Voorhees in the killer shack.

Vecna (Stranger Things)

When players heard Vecna was coming to Dead by Daylight, their excitement turned to disappointment after realizing it was not Henry Creel. Considering Creel’s affection for spiders, his coming to The Fog to serve The Entity would not be out of the question. Vecna’s power could come from his ability to cause survivors to see hallucinations or a change in perception of each stage. Players would be able to break this power through the use of “a lifeline to reality.”

Eleven could be a playable survivor and an Upside Down version of Creel House. It is completely possible that Venca could eventually make his way to the realm as Dead by Daylight and Netflix brought Nancy, Steve, and the Demogorgon back.

Lady Dimitrescu (Resident Evil: Village)

While not the big bad of Resident Evil: Village, the matriarch of the Dimitrescu family left a lasting impression on gamers.  Capcom and BHVR are not strangers to DbD since four survivors and two killers in the game are from the Resident Evil series. Her powers could be similar to her abilities in the Mercenaries mode of Village making usage of the Cadou flies against survivors. Her mori could consist of Bela, Daniela, and Cassandra devouring a helpless Dwight. She would make a fantastic addition.

Slenderman

The most prominent character in Creepypasta is near the top of the list of wanted killers. Known for his stalking abilities, Slenderman would watch survivors from afar before striking. At the moment, it seems like we will never see this creature in the world of Dead by Daylight. Two years ago, Mathieu Cote once said that lore-wise, Slenderman would be difficult to honor in the world of DBD. He also said the same concerning Chucky from the Child’s Play series. The pint-sized killer was added to DBD in October 2023, giving hope to fans for an eventual Slenderman addition.

Springtrap (Five Nights at Freddy’s)

If Jason is the most requested killer, Springtrap is the second most requested killer. William Afton, the child murderer from the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, could feasibly fit into the world of Dead by Daylight. Springtrap is only featured in FNAF 3, so his powers could make use of ghosts to hinder survivors’ movement speed and darken their line of sight temporarily.

Hopeful players found Xenomorph and Chucky eventually making their way to Dead by Daylight. Dracula from the Castlevania series is coming in August.  One or all of these five may make it to the game one day as well if we are so lucky.
