Fortnite Crew Pack Makes Huge Changes in 2024

Fortnite Crew Pack

Epic Games has just announced in a timely manner that they are expanding their Fortnite Crew Pack membership. For most people around the world, this is the season where they enjoy a time of reflection with an attitude of gratitude for Thanksgiving. Where good food, relatives, and familiar family moments bring us all together.

Thank God Epic Games has given us something to save us from all that. Starting December 1st, Battle Bus jumpers and Fortnite Crew will be granted subscribers access to enjoy the Lego Pass and their Music Pass with the Battle Pass and Rocket Pass without any added cost. This falls right in line before the December season for giving, where Fortnite offers a ton of new content.

Grabbing Fortnite’s New Benefits

This isn’t a one-time offer but extends to any new passes coming to the game, like the Fortnite OG Pass, which is coming December 6th. Subscribers to the Crew Membership will have all their benefits added automatically. That means, along with all the benefits listed above, Epic Games is giving any new Pass that arrives with 1,000 V-Bucks, Monthly Crew Pack, and Crew Pack legacy styles.

The monthly subscription fee is $11.99. Fortnite changed from what it had previously done, where gamers had to pay every time a pass was released. This entire pass is now available for the same price and is simplified by paying it monthly.

More For Less Money

Epic Games hasn’t released a reason for these changes, and many could use this opportunity to look at what they are offering negatively. However, Fortnite’s new expansive way of playing has already earned it a wave of positive buzz on social media. If you are not in it for the long haul, there are some possible timing catches and cancelation problems. Once claimed and part of your Fortnite account, any reward will be yours to keep, regardless of your subscription status.

Timing Is Everything

It’s been stated that for new Fortnite Crew Pack subscribers, premium Battle Pass rewards will only be available to claim if your Fortnite Crew subscription is active. This means that if you cancel it halfway through the pass duration, you won’t be able to claim any of the Premium rewards. Instead, you’ll now only be able to claim premium rewards from the Battle Pass until the end of your current billing period rather than the remaining duration of the pass.

However, for players who are currently subscribed to the Fortnite Crew Pack or subscribe before December 1, no changes will be made to claim premium rewards on the Battle Pass. However, should you cancel your Fortnite Crew subscription after December 1 and resubscribe after your previous subscription has expired, you’ll be considered a new subscriber. You will be in line with the new rules for the pass system.

What You Get

An active Fortnite Crew Pack subscription will be needed to access the premium tracks to get any premium rewards on the Music Pass and Lego Pass. This will also apply to any new battle passes that are added in the future. The Battle Royale Battle Pass will also be a little more expensive, costing 1,000 V-Bucks instead of 950, although its actual currency price will remain the same. The Lego and Music Pass will remain at their 1,400 V-Bucks price point and can still be bought separately.

So when you are forced to sit at the Thanksgiving table between Aunt Marge, who won’t stop kissing you, who smells of her forty-seven cats, and dear Uncle Sedley, who uses your head as his ashtray. Let your mind wander about your best Fortnite set-up and how you and your friends will be the last group standing with all these new possibilities.
