It appears that Fortnite will be welcoming Yakuza as the next crossover coming to everyone’s favorite bus-jumping island. Rumors, rumors, rumors. Where would the gaming world be without them? In this case, this rumor has come from a proven source. The Like a Dragon series joining Fortnite would mean Kazuma, Kiryu, and Goro Majima will be part of the battle royale soon. Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 1 is almost over, where Baymax and Godzilla have done their worst. Season 2 will be bringing Yakuza skins, weapons, and more to the island.

Yakuza Meets Fortnite

Fortnite is known for its chapters and seasons, during which the entire island, story, characters, weapons, loot, and rewards can be changed. Battle Pass, which gives players new reasons to level up, will be available on February 21. What was leaked was a teaser showing a variation of Midas who has returned for a bank heist. Not only does it show him coming back, but we will also be receiving another Peely skin suited for the season. There are at least 16 different Peely skins as of now, from the original to Peely Bones and Agent Peely. This time he is suited, looking like a pickle.

This is all thanks to the video game leaker, ShinnaBR, who posted on social media that Fortnite and Like a Dragon may soon merge. In the near future, we may be seeing Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima paying the bus toll and jumping with the best of us. Both these characters have been and continue to be featured in titles, both past and future.

Some Want It, Others Don’t

In all gaming rumors and news, there are fans who are for the change and those who are against it. While Like a Dragon has many characters, the series antagonists have 10 characters and 14 supporting characters with variations of minor and substantial characters. Many are expressing their approval as well as their displeasure over which Like Dragon characters may be coming and perhaps not seen. To have Kiryu and Majima start, many hope to see Ichiban or others.

With this rumor newly started, there are also other crossover stories that may be coming to Fortnite soon. There could be that popular animated sitcom King of the Hill coming. Another animated franchise others wish to come to Fortnite is Demon Slayer. Both were teased to have been in the works since back in November of last year.

So Many Possibilities

Fortnite also has a reputation for releasing seasonal updates with new skins and gameplay that coincide with some popular movies. This year, there would be a lot to choose from. There is the new Jurassic World Rebirth. Who wouldn’t want to see the island overrun with dinosaurs after seeing Godzilla? Fortnite has had a long Marvel companionship, and this year, there is Captain America Brave New World and Thunderbolts. If you like horror, there is the new M3gan or The Monkey. They may change things up with Avatar: Fire and Ash, Mortal Kombat 2, and The Mandalorian. The list is almost endless.
