Dead by Daylight – Vecna The First Full Guide
Dead by Daylight is coming out with its newest collab with Stranger Things in a second chapter that will expand the Stranger Things world in Dead by Daylight. This newest update introduces Eleven and Dustin as survivors and Vecna as a new killer. Each of these new characters has their own special abilities and perks that they’ll bring with them into the Fog. Turn Back The Clock Perk Build
This build works after you catch and hook a survivor. Using a perk like Lethal Pursuer can help track down your first victim right at the start. Hex: Hive Mind allows you to see the progression of all other generators, and Oppression, a perk belonging to The Twins, ups the difficulty of repairing generators by giving survivors a random, difficult skill check, which will alert you to their position.
Secret Project Build
This build grants you two advantages against survivors. When a totem is cleansed or blessed by a Survivor, a generator is blocked randomly for 30 seconds, and you are also granted the Undetectable status for 30 seconds. Survivors will not be able to detect your terror radius or see your red stain for 30 seconds every time a generator is blocked. Adding these perks will strengthen this build:
- Deadlock/No Holds Barred: This Cenobite perk blocks the generator with the most progress whenever another generator is completed.
- Grim Embrace: This is an Artist perk that blocks generators for 10 seconds whenever you hook a Survivor for the first time and move 16m away from the hook.
- Corrupt Intervention: The Plague perk blocks the 3 generators furthest from you at the start of the trial for 120 seconds, or until the first Survivor is put into the dying state.
Hex: Hive Mind Build
A full-on Hex build in Dead by Daylight grants you many advantages if you play as Vecna. Hex: Hive Mind is Vecna’s own ability, and pairing it with other Hex perks like Hex: Thrill Of The Hunt, Hex: Pentimento, and Hex: The Third Seal makes this build pretty powerful.
- Hex: Thrill Of The Hunt is a Huntress perk that gives you a token for every totem that remains on the map. Every token you receive reduces the survivors’ totem cleansing and blessing rate by 12%.
- Hex: Pentimento is another perk from The Artist, and allows you to relight cleansed totems. It slows down survivors’ healing and repairing by 20%, and another 3% for every totem re-lit after. If all totems are relit, they are blocked by The Entity and cannot be cleansed at all.
- Hex: The Third Seal comes from The Hag. Injuring survivors with basic or special attacks causes blindness, leaving them unable to see auras, including totems.
Vecna the First will be the newest character to join the roster of Killers in Dead by Daylight.
