Exciting Look at Dread Meridian in New Trailer During UploadVR Winter Showcase 2025
Dread Meridian is the new VR horror game coming out next month, and developer KUKRGAME has released a new trailer for the game during the UploadVR Winter Showcase this year. A lot of people are looking forward to this new VR horror game, and this new trailer gives us a glimpse into more gameplay, more horror, and reveals the pre-order bonuses for the game that will become available once the game releases. A new trailer for Dread Meridian dropped during the UploadVR Winter Showcase this year. In it, we can see more gameplay of the different puzzles we’ll encounter, such as frequency matching puzzles and solving lock puzzles. The trailer also reveals more of the horrifying creatures we’ll be battling. From the trailer, we can see that some of these monsters range from disfigured humanoid creatures to mutated animal-like monsters.
Pre-Order Bonuses and More
The trailer also announces pre-order bonuses for Dread Meridian, which will include limited edition cosmetics, including skins for your character and weapons. The game is also 15% off if you pre-order the game. Along with the trailer, KUKRGAME has also announced that they are working on and coming out with a multiplayer mode for the game once it releases.
According to the devs, the multiplayer gameplay mode supports four players each match, splitting your group into two teams. You play as either human survivors trying to escape Oglanbyen or the monsters looking to hunt them down using special abilities. You can also take turns playing between humans and monsters, comparable to Dead by Daylight gameplay.
Dread Meridian is expected to launch in January 2026 on Meta Quest and SteamVR. It is also available for pre-order now, so don’t miss out on the pre-order bonuses while they are available.
