In 2024, a developer called UniqueGeese introduced us to the whimsical adventure of Rambley the Raccoon and his animal companions with Indigo Park: Chapter 1. Rambley is the most faithful devotee, as the park’s AI-based avatar of the entire faculty. He takes you around the park and gives you a railroad tour. During this railway, you meet his fellow mascots: Mollie Macaw, Finley the Sea Serpent, Salem the Skunk, and Llyodford L. Lion.

The joyous, creepy atmosphere is shattered as you see throughout your walk in the park, and you notice a creature stalking you from the shadows. After a quick chase and defeating the creature, Rambley confesses that he knows that there is something very wrong with the abandoned park. From what he says, people have started to disappear, leading to the park’s closure. He hopes to reopen the park and solve the mystery around his now monstrous friends.

When the first chapter ended, we were right outside the gates of Finley Sea Serpent’s Oceanic Odyssey ride. It is here that Chapter 2’s teaser picks up where we left off in 2024, exploring the docks of this swashbuckling voyage. Finley is a giant sea serpent with an Eeyore attitude, but with what we have learned so far, we might need a bigger boat and a large harpoon.

From the floating docks to the aquarium in the undertow, we are going on an island-undersea adventure that could give us some clues about what is going on in this park. We will be navigating the seaweed-infested corridors, looking for damaged wires, revamping power, and gathering collectibles as we run through the ship. Expect more lore under the barnacles as we wander around the mascot-painted walls, especially from Mollie Macaw. Based on a painted mural, she might have a flight crew under her wings.

The game’s graphics have definitely gotten finer, the audio is still on point, and it turns out that Finley isn’t the most dangerous villain we need to be on the lookout for. Just like the stalking Mollie mascot creature from before, we’ll need to keep our eyes out for a wolf pirate. The creature is only on for two seconds, but the look and design of this mascot isn’t very comforting. It has the attire of a pirate captain, and the glare of an apex predator who doesn’t like the idea of stowaways on its ship.

If that captain has a temper to match, then we’ll have another intense chase sequence. We could also be trying to avoid its line of sight will we move about the ride. Maybe a few hiding places to escape from his jaws. Aside from that scary creature, encounters with Finley are expected, and puzzles that will unlock and move about the ride…Perhaps even uncover secrets that only the ocean holds.

Final Thoughts: Do Y’all Still Have You’re Wrist Bands?

Indigo Park: Chapter 2 has a release date for 2026, but an official date hasn’t been announced yet. I feel that another trailer will be uploaded in the future for an official launch, but at least we know that the next installment is right around the corner. UniqueGeese’s mascot horror is a cutesy mascot horror that could hold secrets even darker than Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. Who knows what treasures and skeletons are lying below in Finley’s lair?
