Resident Evil Requiem Leon Kennedy Returns

Resident Evil Requiem: Leon Kennedy Returns Alongside Grace Ashcroft

The trailer opens with Grace Ashcroft in a dire situation—locked inside a condemned building after being presumably kidnapped. There, she encounters Dr. Victor Gideon, a figure who looks like the embodiment of a person suffering from white coat syndrome’s worst nightmare. Gideon is infected, unhinged, and he’s not stopping until he gets what he wants from Grace. Talk about a creeper, right? the only hint is that he’s looking for something called Elpis and Grace is his only lead.

We are also treated to hints of the continued downfall of the Umbrella Corporation, a shadow with a cool logo that lingers in the background while ordinary citizens are left to clean up the messes they’ve made (Leon has cleaned up a few in his day). Grace must find a way out or risk becoming Gideon’s next test subject.

Leon Kennedy Returns as Dual Protagonist

And that’s where our fan‑favorite steps in. Leon Kennedy is back, sharing the spotlight in a dual‑protagonist role. Grace may be the central character, but Leon brings his trademark skills, sardonic wit, and action‑hero flair to the fight. Fans are already anticipating the “I’m too old for this” jokes, considering Leon is nearing 50 in Resident Evil Requiem (give the man a break, people).

That doesn’t stop him from tearing through enemies with a chainsaw, though. The trailer shows Leon in full combat mode, reminding players why he’s been one of the franchise’s most enduring icons (he’s become the mascot in my honest opinion).

Raccoon City and the Wrenwood Hotel

Grace’s investigation, and quite possibly her mother’s, ties directly to the ruins of Raccoon City, including the police department where Leon started as a rookie cop back in the day. Her search into strange deaths at the Wrenwood Hotel also connects to her mother Alyssa’s fate, layering personal stakes onto the broader conspiracy.

This pairing of Grace’s investigative horror with Leon’s adrenaline‑driven combat creates a narrative balance—two perspectives that highlight both the cerebral and the visceral sides of Resident Evil.

Resident Evil Requiem Release Date and Platforms
