Switch 2 Release, Pro Controller, and More

Aside from the upcoming Resident Evil game releasing next year, Nintendo has released its newest console, the Switch 2. There’s been a lot of buzz around all the games that will release on the new console, and Resident Evil Requiem will be one of those games once it releases in February. To celebrate the release of the game, Capcom has also revealed a Resident Evil Requiem-themed Switch 2 Pro Controller when the game releases as well. It’s an all black controller that looks like a mock newspaper cover of the Switch 2 and Resident Evil collab. The controller is available to pre-order for $99.99.

Nintendo and Capcom have also collaborated through the Generation Pack, which will be a bundle of games including Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil Requiem. The pack is a Switch 2 exclusive and will cost $89.99. The Generation Pack will be available once Requiem comes out, and will be available to purchase only until March 31, 2026. As you can see, Resident Evil Requiem is gearing up for a huge launch, and I cannot wait until the full game releases next year.
