Horror Title The Order of the Snake Scale Is Coming to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch
The Order of the Snake Scale is a dystopian survival open-world horror game that was released on Steam last year. As a detective investigating the death of a woman, you travel to a town called Happy Rock, uncovering secrets of the Universe and the people who reside there, while gathering clues about the case you are working on. With a surveillance-style view of the game, you fight off and try to avoid hostile creatures while solving puzzles and gathering evidence during your investigation.
It’s a dark and foreboding horror game that pays homage to retro-style games, and now, the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired game will be console playable. Here’s all you need to know about the titular game and how you can play it for yourself.
The Order of the Snake Scale is Console Playable
The Lovecraftian game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. This is pretty interesting, given the play style and mechanics of the game, which is meant for mouse and keyboard. I do think this will reach a wider audience, and FM Simple Games Studio, the developers of the game, have definitely made a strategically smart decision in releasing the game on other platforms. But when will this game be available on all these other platforms?
When Will it Be Available and For How Much?
The game is already available to buy and download on Xbox One and Xbox Series. Its retail price is $12.99; however, it is currently on sale at $10.39. The Order of the Snake Scale will also release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on September 25 at 8:00 pm. The retail price is currently unknown at this time, though you can wishlist it and receive further announcements for the game.
The Order of the Snake Scale is a survival horror game, inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s type of horror. It takes you on a journey of puzzles and an incredibly unsettling story, something you’ll want to experience if you’re a horror freak like me.
