In the massively popular video game Warframe, you fight to collect resources to build weapons, Warframes, and more to stop the looming threats within the Origin Solar System. Polymer Bundles are one of Warframe‘s many obtainable resources and are a resource you will encounter yourself needing often. These synthetic materials are classified as uncommon drops from enemies and caches. Although this is technically true in the game’s code, one planet in particular drops these bundles like candy.
What Are Polymer Bundles Used For?
Polymer Bundles are Corpus-made materials made of hard, thermoplastic casing. Like other uncommon resources in Warframe-for example Plastids- Polymer Bundles become a chokepoint in many new players’ progression. Polymer Bundles are required to build a variety of weapons, Warframes, and other blueprints. According to the Wiki, a whopping 400,000 Polymer Bundles must be farmed to craft every blueprint consisting of this material in the game. These synthetic casings can also be fed to your ship’s Helminth to satiate its appetite. It drops in bundles of 40-80 per enemy without any boosters or loot-enhancing Warframes.
Where And How To Farm Polymer Bundles
This material is an uncommon resource primarily found in the Mercury, Venus, and Uranus regions in Warframe. Although Mercury and Venus can be viable options for farming Polymer Bundles, Uranus drops this resource the most. Assur, a Dark Sector survival mission on Uranus, has an innate 25% resource booster. This Grineer tileset allows large volumes of enemies to spawn in small, narrow tunnels, leading to greater resource yields. Playing against the Infested is also beneficial due to their higher spawn rates. Finally, if you have unlocked the Steel Path, Warframe’s “hard mode”, opt to play Assur in this mode instead for the greatest loot drop potential.
Purchasable from the in-game market are Resource and Resource Drop Chance Boosters. These double the amount of loot and how frequently loot drops, and they save a lot of time when it comes to farming. To further boost yields, forming a loot-focused squad consisting of Nekros, Khora, Speed Nova, and Wisp will greatly improve yields. Using this method will grant thousands upon thousands of Polymer Bundles within minutes. This resource is also obtainable through Sabotage, Exterminate, and other miscellaneous mission rewards. However, the amount is negligible compared to farming on Uranus.
Trivia And Closing Thoughts
Shown at the top of this article is a Polymer Case. These caches can be found on Mercury, Venus, and Uranus, and drop Polymer Bundles upon destruction. The metal plate on the top of the case reads in Corpus, “CARGO-ROOM 0” and shows the Luxor logo. Luxor is a guild within the Corpus faction that handles the manufacturing of equipment, weapons, and construction materials. They produce the majority of the Corpus’ technology. 300 Polymer Bundles can be purchased within the in-game market for 30 Platinum. Although 2024 is coming to a close, Warframe still has multiple updates planned for this year. Warframe is free to play on all platforms!
