That journey involves experiencing old games made for young girls, which quickly turn into something sinister.

The demo for the game, which is available right now, takes players on a twisted journey through three games. Those are Lacey’s Wardrobe, Lacey’s Petshop, and Lacey’s Love Meter. These are all familiar names for those who have stayed up to date with the web series. Just like in the videos from ghosttundra, these games quickly turn dark and violent.
For those who have watched the videos, the contents of each game featured in Lacey’s Flash Games come as no surprise. The sequences, even the ones still hidden behind a shroud of innocence, are almost the exact same. To the delight of fans, the art style that they know and love hasn’t been changed at all. The game still has its simple and colorful charms until players get to the true horror sequences. During those scenes, the more sinister and gory style also remains the same, photorealistic images and all.

The game, much like the series, features depictions of serious topics like stalking and violence against animals. As a person who has played the entire demo, I can say that Lacey’s Flash Games will be a contender for the scariest ARG horror game ever made. It is also set to be one of the darkest ones ever made. When looking at the rest of the videos in the Lacey’s Games series, it’s clear that a lot of terrible stories are still to be told in video game form. As a large horror fan and someone with a strong stomach, I am looking forward to the release. Outside of the horror ARG space, it has the possibility to be one of the most twisted indie horror games ever to be seen by the public eye.
