Madden 25 has continued a tradition with the Madden Ultimate Team mode. Every season, the developers pick a set of players to enter the Ring of Honor, giving them limited edition 99 overall cards. These are highly sought after as one of these legends can become the bedrock of a team. For others, it is another set to complete in the quest to collect every card. Each inductee comes with four supporting cast players, giving players other legendary players to collect. The game has unveiled this year’s class, and there are some awesome cards to look out for.
Madden 25 Ring of Honor
This is a relatively new tradition as this is only the third class in the Ring of Honor. The 2025 class consists of five players: QB Peyton Manning, RB Marshawn Lynch, LT Joe Thomas, FS Sean Taylor, and LB Ray Lewis. Last year’s inductees, Eric Dickerson and JJ Watt, also return for a limited time. These legends come with “1 baked-on 0 AP ability, 3x discounted ability buckets, and 3x Ring of Honor Ability Buckets. Ring of Honor Ability Buckets will be 0 AP until 3/27, when their AP costs will be increased.
In addition, EA Sports announced the sets, challenges, and house rules for the Ring of Honor set. Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) has been huge for the game. Teams no longer bind players. They can craft their team position by position, spending the year improving the squad with better cards. It has brought in a lot of money for the franchise and is also wildly popular among players.
