The most likely console for a Mario Superstar Baseball port is the Nintendo Switch, but another possibility from Nintendo is the DS or 3DS. The Nintendo Sports title Mario Sports Superstars was released on the 3DS in 2017, it featured Baseball as one of the many sports to play in the game. The Nintendo DS is one of the best handheld consoles, but it is not the most likely option.
While the DS is a stretch as it is over a decade old, the reason for a port is to keep the simplicity of the game intact. Mario Superstar Baseball does not need to have excellent graphics as the gameplay is plenty enough and the mobility of the DS and Nintendo Switch makes it a perfect option.
