Doctor Strange is getting a serious cosmic glow-down, and we mean that in the best way. His newest skin channels the sinister vibe of Evil Strange from Multiverse of Madness—and while it’s not an exact replica, it’s giving major dark sorcerer energy. Just take a look at that cape! Creepy, ghostly hands form a twisted halo around his head, and a zombie-like face twist adds just the right level of “What happened to you?” dread.
It’s the kind of design that’s bound to mess with your enemies’ heads in PvP—either from intimidation or sheer discomfort. Either way, you win.
Mythical Glow-Up: Peni Parker Channels Yokai Power
Not to be outdone, Peni Parker is also getting a total style evolution, one steeped in Japanese mythology. Her new Marvel Rivals look takes inspiration from the Tsuchigumo, a legendary spider yokai from the Kobe region, popularized during the Kamakura period. Her SP//dr mech has been remodeled with the fierce aesthetic of an Oni mask, complete with a snarling, exaggerated face that means business.
Add in that bold recolor—bright orange and electric blue—and you’ve got a skin that screams “see me and fear me.” It’s flash, folklore, and firepower all rolled into one. Marvel Rivals did an absolutely excellent job with this design!
Final Thoughts: Season 2 is Bringing the Heat
The internet’s already losing it. Fans are counting down the days until launch, and these skins have sparked a wildfire of speculation. Who’s getting the next glow-up? Are more characters about to join the fray? With Season 2 aptly named “Hellfire Gala,” it’s clear that NetEase isn’t pulling punches—these are high-fashion, high-impact cosmetics built to steal the spotlight.
Get ready to squad up and slay in style—because Marvel Rivals is just getting started.
