Marvel Snap Drops Unexpected Patch Notes

Marvel Snap patch notes

It’s the first day of April, but this is not a joke. Marvel Snap developers just released the latest patch notes, and they’re actually good. As the developers stated, “Let’s get this out of the way. These are real. No April Fool’s jokes in the sacred grounds of patch notes.” In the patch highlights, they are introducing a “new reward type,” “mystery borders,” and “premium mystery borders.”

Show Me The Highlights

As stated, the new reward type, mystery borders, & “premium mystery borders” are new reward types that will still be achieved the same way as usual: Season Pass, Login Bonuses, Alliance Rewards, Conquest Shop, and more. Now, when they say “more,” it most likely means the cash box you can receive after hitting all 50 levels within the battle pass.  The mystery borders will allow you to have the opportunity to pull one of your favorite borders, and with the premium borders, at least one super rare border will be guaranteed.

Marvel Snaps Fall Off The Ladder

Big changes have come to Marvel Snap and I’m not just talking premium borders. The ladder rank decay is very much real and active as ever with a big change to rank drops. If you’re Infinite rank which is (100) or higher, you’ll only be dropped by (25) levels down to rank (75).  If you’re rank is somewhere closer to 70 or 80, your rank will decrease to around 63-65. Introducing this new method of ladder decay will give players a chance to climb ranks by making seasonal progress more possible and less of a downer.

Marvel Snap Features Are Among Us

One of the new features being introduced with the new patch note will be unlocking custom card improvements. This feature will allow players to have the choice to infinity split only once or acquire a new finish or flare from the character mastery as well as features we will have new balance updates to. These new updates are that cards that are no longer at locations can no loner be destroyed which is a huge gain for a lot of players but a huge pain in the ass as well for others, effects acting on the next card played, like “Negasonic Teenage Warhead”.

Marvel Snap Has More Fixed Bugs

Here is a list of a few of the bugs that have been fixed in-game so far.

  • Cards displayed in the graveyard depict accurate placements.
  • Skill cards that were exposed to opponents’ hands have been addressed.
  • Gold pass reward claims have been fixed.
  • The custom card tooltip will display appropriately when clicking locked custom cards.
  • Some characters’ visual effects will appear appropriately on the screen now.

What’s To Come In The Future Of Snap

The developers are working hard on fixing ongoing and current bugs and here are a few known bugs that have their attention. For starters, we have “Sakaar’s” grand prix effect is not restored after being disabled by “Snow Guards” hawk as well as Topaz not being able to move to the middle location after merging with “Hulk Buster”. On another note, suggested alliances are not being shown when accessing the Alliance UI, and Avatars are not showing appropriately for other players within the Alliance UI.

When all is said and done the developers for Marvel Snap have been working hard for its fans for awhile now and when the players have complaints the developers at “Second Dinner Studios” make sure to see them through and get them taken care of as fast as possible because they wanna give up the best table top experience. I am very much excited for the new season pass to start, and I can’t wait to see more of these issues fixed in-game. Remember to always be on the lookout for upcoming game news far and wide, and always keep those fingers moving.
