Marvel Superheroes, in a similar vein, has a Marvel-focused roster, with some fun infinity gem mechanics. X-Men vs Street Fighter is a classic, marking the first company crossover. Marvel Superheroes vs Street Fighter feels a bit redundant but still has a lot of action and charm. Marvel vs Capcom is an arcade classic that still feels energetic today.

This collection is currently going for $5o on Steam, Switch, and PS4. For the first volume, it’s worth the money to experience the original Marvel vs Capcom and Street Fighter vs X-Men. The fact that these games were ported with such care to modern hardware is the cherry on top. In terms of flaws, there were some issues with the collection on release. Some gameplay oddities were removed, and some visual bugs existed.
Just last week, Capcom patched the game and fixed them after listening to fan feedback. This writer will be playing Marvel 2 online for years to come.
