Last season, he only hit .238 with 44 RBIs. While there are many positions the Mets have locked down for years to come, second base isn’t one of them. Beating a 76 overall isn’t difficult. The Tigers made a surprise run in the postseason last year, making them one of the up-and-coming teams in the American League. However, this isn’t a team that is oozing with talent. Riley Greene took a big step forward last year, but the strength of this team is in Cy Young award-winner Tarik Skubal.
Torres was brought in during free agency and is a good veteran for this young team. However, for your purposes in MLB The Show 25, this shouldn’t bother you. With a strong showing in the minor leagues, you can easily climb up the ranks and break into this exciting young lineup in no time. There is some question whether last year was a fluke or a sign of things to come. However, the rotation is solid, and the AL Central doesn’t have any juggernauts.
