Exploring the New Customization Options in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds Accessibility Customization

Monster Hunter Wilds is set to improve upon a tradition in the series. The games aren’t just about slaying impressive beasts. It’s also about customizing your hunter and carving out your place in a beautiful yet dangerous world. With the recent showcase for Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom revealed that it doubled down on this sentiment, revealing an impressive amount of new customization options that will help you to make your hunter and in-game experience truly your own.

Photo Mode: Capture Your Adventures

For the first time in series history, Monster Hunter Wilds will include a photo mode, a popular move in the gaming world these days. This feature allows players to capture dynamic screenshots of their hunts while making the right adjustments to make the image really shine. In singleplayer mode, the game will be paused when using the new photo mode. For solo hunters, this means that your hunt won’t end in failure if you get interrupted by the real world. And for Monster Hunter content creators, your thumbnails are about to get a whole lot more interesting.

From lush locales to dangerous monsters, Monster Hunter Wilds is set to be a feast for the eyes. From the wide open fields of the Windward Plains to the chilling expanse of the Iceshard Cliffs, players will be able to share their hunting experiences with the world. Whether you’re standing triumphantly over a fallen monster or simply taking in breathtaking landscapes, photo mode will let you immortalize your adventures in style.

Monster Hunter Wilds Profiles

In Monster Hunter Wilds, the guild cards that players know and love will be replaced with entire profiles. These profiles allow hunters to showcase their personalities and achievements in a creative way. Players can display snapshots taken in the newly added photo mode, choose from a variety of poses, and customize elements like their nameplate, top page widgets, and background. Additionally, you can adjust your hunter’s expression, camera angle, and even the equipment displayed on your profile.

For those with save data for Monster Hunter World and Iceborne, they will receive a special nameplate to use with their profile. Most of the other customizations are expected to be unlocked the further players get into Monster Hunter Wilds. This means that players have even more encouragement to take down the inevitable wall they will run into in the form of a hard-hitting monster.

Exploring in Greater Style

With a game as big as Wilds is set to be, Capcom isn’t letting players explore without their unique styles. As previously revealed, players’ Seikrets will also be customizable. Players will be able to change the color of their faithful mounts, as well as make changes to the gear that they will wear. This includes the free plush Felyne pendant for players who partake in at least one of the Open Beta Tests.

When players need a bit of respite and relaxation, they’ll be able to enjoy some time in the pop-up camps they will be able to set up across the locales. To make them even cozier, players will be able to change up the colors, patterns, and decals of their tents. They will also be able to set up furniture and decorations outside for some nice camping after a bit of restocking. While seemingly inhumanely powerful, hunters need a break too.

Get Ready to Hunt

With its elaborate customization options and thoughtful touches, Monster Hunter Wilds is set to deliver a deeply personal and immersive experience for hunters old and new. It will be a fun time to watch as new options are unlocked for our player profiles, and it’ll be exciting to snag that perfect show of the player character getting destroyed by Nu Udra. Of course, that all must wait until after players spend possibly hours in character creation. Luckily, if you participated in any of the Open Beta Tests, your character will be carried over to the full version of the game.
