Moon Knight is one of the growing list of heroes in Marvel Rivals. The game has assembled some of the universe’s chosen superheroes and malicious villains. When its release came on December 6, 2024, by NetEase Games, it was an instant success. In cooperation with Marvel Games, it was playable on the PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. This free-to-play instant hit offered crossplay access, and as of February, it reached over 40 million players battling it out in 6v6 cooperative combat in some of the world’s most iconic Marvel locations. Marvel Rivals Moon Knight
When it’s you against thirty-nine million nine hundred ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine, you need every bit of an edge you can get, and if you select Moon Knight, you could use a guide. Moon Knight takes out enemy players from around the corner or behind cover. In Marvel Rivals, he focuses on mid-to-long-range eliminations and is one of the only ones who doesn’t emphasize the line-of-site kills. This makes him more than troublesome when it comes to circumventing the front lines and tanks and being a thorn in the sides of the Vanguards and healers.
Marc And Khonshu
Being one of the strongest damage-dealing characters in Marvel Rivals isn’t his only strength. Moon Knight also happens to have multiple escape abilities, making him one of the most agile champions in the game. Here is a guide for players to utilize all of Moon Knight’s abilities so you can dominate in the game.
This character has one of the most interesting backstories in the Marvel Universe. His real name is Marc Spector who is the chosen avatar for Khonshu. Khonshu is the Egyptian God of Vengeance who has given Marc superhuman abilities to wreak vengeance on the unrighteous. Before Spector met up with Khonshu, he was a mercenary who died, and when killed, Khonshu gave him a second chance. The deal was that he gets to live, but only as Khonshu’s tool of vengeance.
A Good Offense
His main ability is his Crescent Dart. It can be used to hit his enemies and bounce off them as well as other foes or his Ankhs. This dart can bounce up to three times, and with each hit, it causes 25 damage. When it can get a group of targets together and bounce around your shots among them, it really is billiard-table hustle.
He can also pull out and use his Moon Blade. That is his backup weapon, which is a slow projectile that has a longer cooldown and packs a bigger punch. It does 80 damage also, with the ability to bounce off enemies and Ankhs.
Next up is Moon Knight’s Ankh. In Marvel Rivals, this is one of the most promising abilities and a definite game-changer. When deployed and it hits its target, it first draws all enemies inside a radius to its center. This is a little beauty that can be used to shoot and ricksha your hits to other targets within its radius.
Grapple, Glide, & Ultimate
The next two things he can use are to evade or position himself just right. The first is Moonlight Hook. This is the grappling hook that he shoots, drawing him forward, right to where he shot it. It’s great for repositioning himself, escaping, as well as setting himself up for a killer shot. The next is Night Glider. When in the air, he can glide, dodging incoming shots or controlled evasion.
Like all the other characters in the game, they come with an ultimate ability that slowly powers up over time. Moon Knight’s ultimate is the Hand of Khonshu. When he uses it, it opens a portal above an area, dropping Khonshu’s hands and tumbling death from above. They do 75 damage per hit.
Leap Of Faith
The next two abilities may seem simple, but they help get around and in a pinch. The first is Rising Leap, when Moon Knight can do a double jump. Full Moon is a Team-up ability that is only available when Cloak & Dagger is on your team. When used, it injects both light and dark energy into Moon Knight, making him invisible.
When playing Moon Knight, keep some things in mind. Use combos as much as possible. Hit the enemies in groups, and be patient in not giving your position away if needed to get the good shots. He is fantastic in groups but weak when enemies know where you are and get up close.
