Season 5 is, without a doubt, centered around the theme of warriors and fighters of physical combat. The Age of Roman Gladiators in Ancient Rome may have ended centuries ago and yet their legacy lives on to this day. The Night’s End skin for the operator Bantam has gold wrapped around his arms and wears a metallic face mask which is most likely inspired by the Greek God of the Sun, Helios.

A new tracer pack dubbed “Down From The Skies” comes with an operator skin, two tracer weapon master crafts, an execution, a weapon charm, an animated calling card, and a unique loading screen. Each unlockable skin had its BlackCell counterpart when the BlackCell bundle was purchased with the battle pass.

WWE Wrestles their way into the MW3…

WWE Fans who are also Call of Duty fans are in for a real treat this season, a handful of famous wrestlers from WWE are introduced as playable operators in MWIII and Warzone. First on the roster is Rhea Ripley which can only be unlocked by purchasing the battle pass.

She comes with her Mami and Eradicator outfits, and Cody Rhodes joins the fight with his own tracer pack, along with his own finishing move and outfit named “The American Nightmare”. Rey Mysterio jumps in as well with his own tracer pack, unique finishing move, and his outfit named “The Ultimate Underdog”. The WWE Summerslam event is currently ongoing with a total of 7 challenges, if the player beats all of the challenges, they can unlock a WWE-themed uniform for Operator Scorch.

More tools of war…

Two brand new weapons were added to the extensive armory in MWIII, the first of which is the STG-44, which in the game seems to be a modern rebuild of the iconic assault rifle used during World War II, the gun handles like beautiful, strong damage with great accuracy and recoil control, it has a fast fire rate but that can be fixed with attachments to fit the player’s playstyle.

A new SMG joins alongside the STG-44 called the Static-HV, its small frame and build allow for enhanced mobility when using the weapon. The MW3 Battle Pass can be purchased in-game, if you haven’t bought and played MW3 already, you can buy a physical copy, get a Game Pass Ultimate subscription for Xbox, or visit the Call of Duty website to help you buy a digital copy.

Grind for success…

With all these new operators, weapons, battle passes, and events all happening in the game right now, it’s all the more reason to start the grind strong and keep it going. Many players will find enjoyment with the new weapons and new operators especially since this has been a collaboration in the works for quite some time now.

Season 5 has a lot to offer and will certainly leave an impression on everyone as the game devs shift gears to finishing up Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with the Open Beta coming for early access in late August and for everyone else in early September. It’s time to finish strong with the life cycle for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
