NASCAR 25 Career Mode Promises To Be The Most Realistic Yet

NASCAR 25 Career Mode details

When NASCAR 25 was announced, racing fans rejoiced. Unlike games like Madden or MLB The Show, NASCAR has not seen an official video game since NASCAR 21: Ignition was released by Motorsports Games. iRacing is developing this game with Dale Earnhardt Jr. serving as the executive producer. Given the talent involved, this promises to be a great player experience. One of the hallmark modes of any sports game is the Career Mode, which gives players the ability to feel like a real person in the sport. iRacing revealed the details, and it promises to be the most realistic version yet.

Like any sport, drivers don’t immediately become stars racing on the top circuit. They have to compete in other circuits and work their way up the ladder before achieving the ultimate prize. It isn’t just about what a driver does on the track. Drivers have to get sponsorships and make public appearances to build their reputation. In past games, not all the circuits were included. That isn’t the case in NASCAR 25. NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series will all appear in the game.

In a video posted by the developers, they talked about how this is essential to making a realistic experience. Players will get to start from the bottom and race their way to the top. In addition, players will start from a backyard garage and customize their car for their debut race. From there, they can hire the right staff, sign contracts, and expand their facilities to improve their skills. All of these were developed with the help of real drivers.

The Hype Is Real

With many other sports games, players can play past versions to hold them over until the next installment comes out. That is not the case with NASCAR 25. Many official games have been delisted, including the most recent release, NASCAR 21: Ignition. This makes the release of the new game even more exciting. We’ve seen games that have gone dormant get revived with great success. I personally remember having a NASCAR game 20 years ago and had a blast playing it.

When will the game be released? There isn’t an official date, but it is scheduled for the Fall of 2025. This is a popular time to release games, as the holiday season often drives sales for many items. The developers are trickling out details to build up hype for the game, so stay tuned for more updates as the release date gets closer!
