HoYoverse drops 2 new agents likely to come in Zenless Zone Zero 1.6 update. HoYo has the tendency to drop new characters for the next update when the more recent patch drops, and with 1.5 out for a couple of days already, let’s see what ZZZ has in store for their proxies.
New Skills, Same Old Anby
First up on our debut for the day. Anby will arrive at Zenless Zone Zero 1.6 in a new style of both clothing and as an agent. Silver Soldier Anby was announced today. She sports a different look than her normal green outfit heading into a white and orange color. She keeps her usual Electric element but changes from a Stun unit to an Attack unit.
Anby then wields two blades instead of one. There isn’t much to go off besides that Anby is sporting a new look, and blades, and that the Agent Record shows her as Attack. Rumors are starting to circle that she is a S-Rank, of course, they are just rumors at the moment since we don’t entirely know. Leaks from Reddit are saying that there is she will be an S rank. Another Leaks says that Silver Soldier Anby will be part of the OBOLS Squad Faction, the only other to Soldier 11’s Faction, furthering the concrete information that they know each other and once worked together.
This isn’t the first time that a character in HoYoverse had their own “glow-up.” March 7th from Honkai: Star Rail got her own glow-up as of HSR 2.4, becoming a separate character for Trailblazers to obtain through an event for free. She also supports dual wielding, a new outfit, and a new Path, going from her Path of Preservation to her Path of the Hunt.
While I doubt, they will give a possible S rank away for free, it is a bit obvious that Zenless Zone Zero is following Honkai a bit close not that it’s a bad thing, Zenless has done well to build its own audience and stand on its own, so it makes sense that it would follow the success of its sister game.
Betting on the Winning Side
Next up on the list is Pulchra Fellini. A feline thiren that will be joining the Sons of Calydon. She joins the faction with Ceasar, Lucy, Piper, Lighter, and Burnice. She is a Physical Stun unit, and the rumors put her as an A-Rank. Pulchra showed up in Zenless Zone Zero’s Sons of Calydon update back in 1.2, she had an interaction with Burnice that left her debating on what side she was on as Burnice tried to persuade her to join, while also burning her a bit.
You could say a prayer has been answered as HoYo, gave Proxies their A-rank Physical Stun Agent that has been asked for. As for what she will bring to the table, well just like Silver Soldier Anby, we will have to wait and see how it goes. Pulchra Fellini was already a crowd-favorite and will surely continue as Zenless Zone Zero 1.6 creeps to its release in a little over a month. To say the least Silver Soldier Anby and Pulchra have me excited for the next update and what is to come, now that we are getting closer to Anby’s past and to see her connection with the OBOLS Squad Faction.
Currently Zenless Zone Zero is reveling in its recent update to 1.5 which came with a lot of QoL and new agents like Astra and soon, Evelyn. As the leaks come out and the rumors deepen, I’ll keep you updated on what comes fresh and what’s to come next.
