The latest trailer for the next addition to the Budokai Tenkaichi series is getting fans of Dragon Ball even more pumped for the release of Sparking! ZERO. The 3-minute-long video showcased just some of the skilled warriors you’ll be able to fight with and against in the much-anticipated game. This latest news caused all things Dragon Ball to trend across social media and with good reason. I watched the trailer a few times myself, and even though I’m not the biggest Dragon Ball fan, it even got me pumped for release day whenever that may be.
Fight With Fusions in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO
Fused warriors take the spotlight within this latest trailer with well-known fusions such as Gogeta and Gotenks making an appearance. I have to say that Gotenks holds a special place in my heart because when I was younger and watching Dragon Ball Z, Goten and Trunks were my favorite characters. I also watched the fight between Gotenks and Super Buu over and over again because for some reason we had the fight recorded on a VHS tape. I don’t know why, but I was happy that we had it.
Other fusions featured in the trailer are Kefla, Vegito, and Fused Zamatsu. Kefla is a fusion of Kale and Caulifla, Vegito is a fusion of Goku and Vegeta just like Gogeta is, and Fused Zamatsu is a fusion made from Goku Black and Future Zamatsu. With the news that these fused warriors will be joining the roster, excitement for Sparking! ZERO continues to grow. This in turn makes waiting for the official reveal of the release date for the game ever so harder for devoted fans of the series and fighting games in general.

If you’re one of those fans itching for more updates about the game, I have some good news for you. You won’t end up waiting long at all since the team behind Sparking! ZERO will be making an appearance at this year’s Summer Game Fest. On June 7, fans will be eagerly awaiting the latest announcement involving the game. Hopefully, we’ll be getting an exact release date, but if we don’t, I’m sure whatever they have in store will be just as good considering there’s a large chunk of the roster that is yet to be revealed.
