Battlefield 6 Finds Its Ultimate Hide and Seek Champion in 2025
Players have already dived into RedSec, Battlefield 6‘s new battle royale mode, which officially launched on October 28. For PlayStation 5 owners, a free twenty-dollar pack was offered just for logging in. Strangely, critics plummeted the game’s user reviews from Mostly Positive to Mixed after the update. So, what caused these negative reviews, especially when many of the negative ones lacked specific complaints?
Battlefield 6 Player’s Victory Was a Pipe Dream
Nevertheless, players who actually jumped into RedSec appeared to have a blast, with one particularly determined fan recently achieving the seemingly impossible. This player somehow found a way to win a match without securing a single elimination. To accomplish such a pacifist victory in a game built on combat couldn’t have been easy.
In a video, a content creator known as jamcowl claimed the world’s first zero-kill win in the Battlefield 6 mode. The creator had required sixty-five grueling attempts to perfect, during which he devised several clever, albeit indirect, strategies to outlast the competition. One tactic involved using stun grenades to hopefully push enemies into environmental hazards. Another involves rigging a drone with explosives for an opponent who mistakenly triggers it.
However, the creator’s most effective strategy was simply hiding inside an inconspicuous pipe. This hiding spot was perfect because it wasn’t easily seen, so all Jawcowl had to do with wait it out. As the circle closed in and other players frantically searched for each other, the player went unnoticed.
The Un-Kill, Un-beatable Strategy
This twenty-three-minute video documentary is the creator’s masterclass in stealth with a dramatic monologue from Dune. The player’s decision to add this voice to the video proves that they understood the assignment. Ultimately, the player and their squadmate, who also scored zero kills, secured a flawless and hilariously passive victory in RedSec. With this win, the nature of winning in a modern shooter is called into question.
Can a victory that involves no direct confrontation truly be considered a masterful play? One amazed Viewer praised Jamcowl for his focus and sheer will it took to attempt this sixty-five times. Whether this victory will lead to the entire Battlefield 6 community to become paranoid about pipes on the map is yet to be seen. That said, the quietest soldier in the game will likely have a target on their back.
